My surgery was scheduled for April 15 but was postponed without a new date. Has anyone gotten a new date yet?

Initially I was 4/9 then rescheduled to 5/21...but who knows now.

I just got my date July 16th and it might get pushed back still

May 6th scheduled today! Revision band to sleeve.

Originally 3/30, but now scheduled for a VSG on 5/18

I've been pushed up to 5/15...no one can come in with me though...only drop off and pick up. Nerves are in overdrive.

I had a consultation on 4/30 and am scheduled for June 12!!!

May 28. Start 2-week preop diet May 15.

Initially was 3/30 rescheduled to 5/18

Was 4/13, now 5/13. Excited and a teeny bit nervous.

Originally was scheduled for March 18th and now rescheduled for May 13th. Start my liquid diet tomorrow. Doctor was pleased with my weight loss of 17 lbs. so allowed me to do one week instead of two on the liquid diet.

Soooo....my surgeon requires a COVID-19 test done prior to my surgery in 5/15. I had it done yesterday. MY GOD. With everything going on right now...patients are not allowed in the medical offices here for testing. It was done in my car. I'm gripping the steering wheel..the inside roof of my car!! It was THE most horrible medical experience I've ever had to date. I really can't find the words. When it was over...I cried all the way home. Driving and crying.

It felt like a bleach and ammonia dipped hot pencil was stuck up my nose and into my brain! I swear its not an exaggeration. I just wanted to vent. I am hoping that I test negative. I have only been outside of my house twice and did everything I could to prevent my risk of exposure.

Ugggh...my Dr. is requiring the same and I have to do it Friday. I am absolutely dreading it, but I know it’s necessary. I hope you’re feeling better! I May need to commiserate with you on Friday after my test!!
