Surgery was Monday, just got home today. Working on maintaining fluids and getting protein in. Still fighting with nausea. The car ride home made me sick as well.

Surgery was yesterday. I slept most of the day yesterday. Between the pain and the grogginess, I have struggled trying to get anything down. It takes me 5 minutes to drink a1 ounce. My throat is sore from the tube. Just needed to vent.

So many emotions. I’ve barely slept and it’s time to get up to shower and head to the hospital.

It’s mental. The first 3 days are tough and then it gets easier. Remember the end goal. My surgery is Monday. Good luck.

Surgery is scheduled for Monday, May 18th. I’m a ball of nerves. I have to get tested for COVID on Friday. Tomorrow is my last day of work. I’m all over the place... oh and I’m over the liquids. Positive vibes please

I’ve been told the first 3 days are the toughest. Hoping to get over this hump in another day or so.

I’m not physically hungry, but my mind is trying to tell me that I’m hungry (if that makes sense).

Surgery date is May 18th. Started liquid diet yesterday, may 4, struggling. I know it’s mental but this is tough.

Surgery was originally scheduled March 30 and got cancelled due to covid. Just got rescheduled for May 18

Started my liquid phase today for my surgery on 3/30 and got a call that surgery is cancelled for now

I’m scheduled for 3/30. Start liquid prep on 3/16. My surgeon said it’s a chance, so I’m holding my breath... really hate to get through the liquid prep only to be cancelled at the last minute.
