  2. Hey mango...can i have some of your left overs please hehe. How are you feeling about your op? xx
  3. i agree, if they got so flat and looked like loose flappy skin i would get something done. But like you said not so overdone that it looks fake, and make sure its in proportion to my body. But if the chicken fillets could sort out the problem, i wouldnt bother.
  4. i wish i didnt get TOM.....the cramps, getting moody...i just thought of the amount i have had to pay for products....£1000's... For me im very heavy and my periods have always been regular every month, except for one time when i bled for a month straight . The doc said it was to do with the birth control i was on.
  5. Hi all, After losing weight we know that we loose weight from all parts of the body. If you were to loose a lot from your breasts would you consider getting breast augmentation or breast implants to fill you out, or a breast lift to bring you back up north instead of heading down south....??
  6. Yea i know, she's thinking about getting a boob job. I wish that all the weight would go and i would keep my boobs, i think there the only thing i dont want to go down. But i will wait and see what they look like when i get down to my ideal weight... How many of you ladies would consider getting a breast implants if there boobs had serious srinkage.....???? think i might start a poll
  7. Leslie: thing are looking on the up for you, he is definatly likeing what he is seeing! at least you can have the fun without having to worry about a lil one lol! Enjoy it gal...and dont forget that is extra cals you burning aswell!!! It alll gooooood!!! gone4ever: that one thing i worry about too, losing the breastage!! They aint that big at the mo, well compared to the rest of my bod. Im a double D at the mo, but my sis who has lost weight has gone from a D to an A!! If i do loose it all, i wont hesitate to get them chicken fillets out! lol
  8. love the room!!! i wont be holding back anymore!! Thanks froggie and alex..... its time for gg to go wild...........wooooooooooooooo! lol
  9. Hi Sue! I really do understand what you are saying, im not doing this so i can become a size 0, im doing this for health reasons and to improve my quality of life and not to have to think about every little thing that i want to do, before i do it. Like you mentioned having to know if the seats at the restaurant i want to eat at had arms, not being able to go to themeparks because i cant fit in the rides, being able to walk for more than two minutes without my knees, back and ankles hurting and not having to pay a fortune for clothes!!!
  10. Ladies Lounge...i like that!!!
  11. Hi all, Im glad to know that im not the only one going through it, it is a true point that it is not only thin people that have issues with it. And its really shocks me how unprofessional some medical professions are.....eg eating nuts and seeds!!! I would of told him stick his nuts and seeds where the sun dont shine!! lol it also makes me laugh the people that advise you against not getting it done, they see the results later and then want it done themselves!! angel: i sooooo agree!!
  12. The Powder Room (*ladies only*) could be the one ...unless anyone has anymore thoughts or suggestions....? Can we also have a cuss out room for the times when men annoy us....as in acting like they are dying when they have a small cold lol lol
  13. hey! Welcome to the forum, i would say the first 4 days are the hardest (i did the cambridge diet) ,but stick with it hun! Its not forever and as a bonus you will have an extra loss before you have surgery. The first two weeks of my liquid diet i lost 17lbs! Good luck xx
  14. You go there hun, am happy to hear that you you feel positive and sexy! We are all "bringing sexy back" lol lol (slowly but surely)
  15. Hey! i sent her packing with my shopping list lol i hope they will let her bring it back on the plane lol Im sure you i will be adding to my shopping list whiles she's out there, you giving me new food stuff ideas everyday lol xxxx
  16. Well done with your weight loss, you prove that it can be done of you work with your band!! xxx and you to becky!!! your an inspiration to us all!
  17. Hey I like the "Powder Room"...how about "The Powder Room, *Ladies Only*"
  18. Hey hun! i felt excatly the same as you didn when i walked out of her office, i started to question and doubt myself, thinking...what am i doing?...is she right? But then i started thinking to myself why i opted for this surgery and what the benefits not only to my immediate health but to my life would be. By the time i walked the 20 seconds to the car, i soon snapped out of it!!! All of the negativity i got from her i turned it into positive, and that just drove me to know that this is what i really want! Again i have done research upon research about lapbadning , and know about the good and the not so good. But if you know that you want it (100%) dont let any body change your mind, or put doubts in your head. If you want it, GO FOR IT!!! it does work...we only need to look around us on the forum. i have found that when people see that you are trying to do something to better yourself, they just wanna bring you down. Dont let them! xxxx xxxxxx
  19. hi leslie, I'm also not telling many people about the op, my mother and my sister and that it. If people are going to be negative, there gonna be negative. But as for me i don't have the time to listen to it...! They dont live my life, or go through what i have to go through, or suffer from the effects of the weight i carry around. So stuff the lot of them. They had better move outta my way , cos GG is coming through, no matter what they say or do!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  20. Thanks you all for the replies and for your support. As you have mentioned, people can be ignorant to WLS....or think you are going down the GBP which is a whole other story. People think its the easy way, but it is far from it! You still have to put in the work to loose the weight, as as mentioned if you work against your band, you will end up putting weight on. Surgery is a big decision, and there is no way im gonna mess it up, or put myself at further risk but not following what i should be doing with the band. What gets me is when you try to educate people about it, and they STILL dont want to listen to what you have to say! People are so quick to focus on the negatives and dont even see the positive side of things. But for once im doing this for ME and nobody else. You have all been great support!! Thank you.
  21. Hey! You were good, if that was me, i would said a few choice words to him, but in saying that....what an ***hole!! But he was still happy to get paid for doing the procedure. And a coward to say it while you were not thinking clear from the drugs! Well done on your losses, and keep up the hard work!!!
  22. Hey! Her negative attitude is so bad, and i feel for the next person who walks into her room and isn't as strong and determined to stand up for what they want. I think thats a true point you mentioned, just because it goes wrong for one, don't tarnish everybody with that same brush. Doesn't mean that it will go wrong for you also. CANT WAIT TO BE BANDED and on the road to a new and improved me!
  23. Hey Texgal! I am really up for it, and am going to put in 100%, and i WILL go back and show her how it DOES WORK!
  24. I have decided that lap band surgery is definatly for me, goodness knows how long i have been struggling with my weight. Anyway i went to my nurse as advised by my doc to talk to her about loosing weight. As soon as i mentioned lapband she just went off on one: "i have known so and so person who has had it done and it hasnt worked for them", "its not a quick fix to loose weight" (which i tried to explain to her that i know, ultimately i am the one who has to loose the weight, but controlling and managing what i eat) but did she wanna listen...ohh no!! "surgery doesn't work" i told her to come to this website and thousands upon thousands are living proof it DOES! even when she was telling me about the stories of how it went wrong, i had to correct her half way through and tell her that the person she was referring to had gastric bypass and not banding. By the time i came out of the office i felt so small, and was on the verge of crying my eyes out!! why is it always the people that have had no issues with their weight and dont have a clue, what it is like to be over weight, are always the first one to shun surgery?? I have researched for years and making the decision to undergo surgery is not one that i have taken lightly. But staying the way i am now, is pushing me towards and early grave, and i refuse to walk that path any longer and have taken the stand to do something about my weight. As mentioned i have spent a very long time doing my research and am not naive, i know that things can go wrong and they do go wrong. But if i stay the way i am, i not even giving myself a chance. I have seem both the positives and negatives and have made an informed choice. When i came home i was so upset, but i am STRONGER than that, i know 100% that the lapband is what I WANT and its people like her that convince me EVEN MORE SO that i know im doing the right thing and pushes me to go further and prove them wrong! So i say not only for myself, but for people that have had people trying to talk them out of the lapband, if you know that it is for YOU. Go for it, and don't let the haters stand in your way! The more people hate the STRONGER I GET!!
  25. Hi Im trying to apply for a loan at the mo, but my credit is lets just say "not great". But another reason why i want to wait is that it gives me the time to save up, if i do end up going private. Day 2 and already out to the shops, your doing really well. How are you finding sticking to the liquid diet?
