I had 3 consults, all virtual! I met my surgeon in person for the first time at my pre-op appt which was 1 week prior to surgery. The only thing that changed after my in-person exam was that she didn't think I had enough fat to lipo on my flanks, so moved my lipo from the flanks to my back (where my fat was)!

Feeling like an attention whore, but that won’t stop me from posting! Hahaha! Went thrift store shopping today. So many great deals! Got a a sleeveless blouse, bikini top and 3 sundresses that can double as beach coverups! Spent $12. Woo hoo!

Here are few favorites: Oppenheimer, Hockstein, Earle, Zuriarrain, Hammoudeh You can check out their website, IG FB, etc for before/after pics. Miami is the center of the PS universe. If you go to Miami, I would recommend the private practices only, and stay away from the clinics!

Get the stuff and make your own!! You will know exactly what's in it, and you will save so much money in the long run! Treat yourself to all of the sugar free syrups, etc, and make a little coffee bar in your home!!

Where are you in FL? East coast, west coast, north south? Have quite a few FL recommendations depending on where you are!!

My surgeon gave me the silicone strips today! I will try them out in a bit! I definitely plan on using lots of oils once my scars are more healed too. I love the smell of tea tree!!

My pre WLS weight was 230, and I had my PS consult when I was around 165, but scheduled it for 7 months out so that I'd be at goal weight by the time I had surgery. I ended up switching plastic surgeons, but kept my original surgery date. I was 117 on the day of surgery. You are off to a great start!! Best of luck to you!!

It may be a while before you can eat the crust, but the toppings are the best part anyway! Try a ricotta bake for the pizza taste too. I think I ate the cheese off a slice of pizza around 2.5 months post op!

Now when newbies ask "what does restriction feel like?" you will be able to tell them! It's like the food is trying to come back up your throat! Like others have said, it sounds like you swallowed one bite too many. It happens to all of us in the beginning, and then we get used to how our body tells us we are full! Best of luck!!
