  1. Congrats on having a set date!! It will be here before you know it!!
  2. Sorry that I missed this thread when it was first posted!! You look amazing, and I'm sure you feel even better than your look! Congratulations!!
  3. 4C Wildberry Pomegranate is my jam!!!
  4. Woo Hoo!!! Looking good! Breathing is overrated!! LOL!!
  5. 10DPO! Took some updated measurements...still on the hunt for a tiny waist! LOL!! Pre-op: 117lbs; 36-29-35.5 10DPO: 113lbs; 38-28-34.5 Hoping that my waist gets smaller as swelling goes down! Guessing the weight loss is from the skin removal, as I'm still pretty full of fluids, and would have thought my weight would be a little higher b/c of it. My hips went down an inch, which isn't a bad thing as I used to have 2 pockets of skin that sat on my hip bones and are now gone (sucked up into the TT). Once I'm cleared to lift weights, etc, I hope to build up my glutes and get that hip measurement a little bigger, but for now, I'm glad to be rid of those skin pockets!
  6. Jealous of no drains and getting into your faja!! I still have another week of drains and binder! Sounds like everything is going well, and fingers crossed for the left arm to continue to heal!!
  7. Hello and Welcome to the rest of your life!!!! Many of us can relate to years of yo yo dieting, and being able to lose, but not being able to keep it off. You are in great company here!! Best of luck to you, and I look forward to following your progress!
  8. Hello and Welcome!!! Slowing down while you eat will become more natural as time goes on, but for now, you need to concentrate on it and listen to your body and feel that restriction. Best of luck to you!!!
  9. Cute outfits New hairstyle - makeover day Spa Day Plastic Surgery! LOL!!
  10. Welcome Home!! I'm sure it feels great to sleep in your own bed!!!
  11. Thanks for the sleeping tips! I'm propping my head/upper torso up with pillows, and also have a pillow under my knees. My own version of a craftmatic adjustable bed! LOL!! I'm in Naples!
  12. I'm so sorry that you are sick!!! I absolutely love your positive, roll with it attitude though!! That spunk is going to help you heal, and also help you get a new job!!! Best of luck!!!!
  13. I just had plastic surgery during Covid, so color me selfish!! LOL!!! Seriously though, people will say things on anonymous message boards that they would never say to someone's face. That's why I don't read the comments on political articles, etc, b/c it makes my blood boil! Stick with people who lift you up...which is pretty much everyone here!!! HUGS!!!
  14. I'm definitely in the recliner during the day!! Maybe try sleeping on your back with pillows under your knees? I'm still trying to figure out the perfect position for bed sleeping!
  15. I lie! LOL!! I don't want them doing the math and figuring how much I used to weigh! I start out vague, "I'm not sure exactly, I haven't weighed myself lately" which is also a huge lie as I weigh myself 10x a day! LOL!! If they really push, I say around 40 or 50, Depends on my mood! ha ha!
  16. Did the recliner for the first week and it worked great. Moved back into my bed 2 nights ago. My breasts are tender so I have to be careful if I try to sleep on my side. Best part is that I don't wake up 10 times a night to use the bathroom anymore, so I'm actually getting a great night's sleep!!
  17. Will likely stay through Easter. It's going to be in the 80s this weekend. Hard to go back to the cold! Plus warm weather will make is easier to wear skimpy clothes and show off my body! ha ha ha! Not that I go anywhere!!
  18. You look beyond amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! Woot Woot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Yes! I'm pretty much a snowbird this year, thanks to Covid (working from home and virtual schooling for the kids)!!
  20. 7DPO! Still can’t believe this is my body! Took a new pic! Flanks are still pretty swollen, but the rest of the swelling has gone down a lot!
  21. Thank you so much for all of the great tips! I have loved following your PS journey and have learned a lot from you!
  22. Do you cross your legs when you sit? I only ask bc when my sister lost a lot of weight she started having numbness and pain in her legs and she went to a neurologist bc she was concerned. Turned out she hadn’t been able to cross her legs in years and how that she was crossing them again she was having nerve issues. It eventually went away on its own. Hoping whatever is causing your pain is a simple fix. Good luck!!
  23. 6DPO! Had my 3rd post op visit today, and had 1 drain removed (still have 2 drains left). She also removed and reapplied my boob tape. I'm done with my compression machine and compression tights. I feel more mobile already! I even wore "real" clothes today. Leggings and a t-shirt, I'm fancy!! I discovered my drain lanyard around my neck was causing neck pain, so now I carry my drain lanyard like it's a little purse...a gross purse full of bloody fluid, but it's much more comfortable than around my neck. I see the surgeon again next Monday, at which time I will likely have a 2nd drain removed. Fun stuff!
  24. Have fun faja shopping!!! Sounds like you are doing GREAT!!
