I stalled at 3 weeks. It was so frustrating especially after watching weight fall off first 2 weeks. About a week later I started loosing again. It’s just your body getting use to the changes. Hang in there

My ugly truth about WLS
I can relate with your first paragraph 10000%! I feel the exact same way. I try to explain it to my family and friends but they don’t get it. I’ve felt very alone in feeling this way. Just know you are not alone.

Feeling a little down
I’m 6 weeks post op and question my decision almost daily. I totally understand what your feeling

Today
Good luck! I cried hysterically the whole walk to to OR. I was so close to turning around and saying Nevermind I changed my mind. I was so nervous. Lol. You got this!

Going on holidays after Surgery
I went to Disneyland 3.5-4 weeks post op. Thought i might need a wheelchair since I was getting dizzy. Decided to take the chance and walk both days there. I was fine.

Desert substitutes
This is real life.. I believe in everything in moderation. I love having a chobani flip yogurt almost daily for dessert if I have the calories to spare. I’m 6 weeks post op. I didn’t do this to deprive myself and not live my life. It’s ok to have something sweet, just not a huge amount like I would have done pre surgery.

How many days till a post surgery bm?
I was taking one stool softener every night and did not have a BM until day 7 post op. Maybe taking so many stool softeners was to blame, but I had the worst diaherria for a couple of days after that.

Was this a decent amount?
That’s awesome!! My doc told me there was no such thing as loosing too fast.

Felling frustrated.
I’m feeling the exact same way. Had surgery on 9/10. First 2 weeks weight fell off. Now it’s not budging. I keep thinking I’m doing something wrong but I’m doing everything I’m told.

Lightheaded
Yep I get it. I was sleeved 9/10/19. Doc said dehydrated. Not getting that though as I feel like I drink plenty of water

Still feel hungry
Thank you all. I appreciate your replies. Good to know I’m not alone ?

Does everyone take Prilosec/ Omeprazole right after surgery/ weight gain/ Help!
I’m on day 17 post op. Surgery was September 10th. I was prescribed this same medication. I have lost 22 pounds so far. But I’m also at a point where nothing taste good and I have no desire to eat. I’m probably getting no more than 150 calories a day. (Not by choice). Everyone is different. I wouldn’t worry about it. 13 pounds is still awesome! I was told by my dr to not compare my weight loss with others. It will only make you crazy. Your doing great!

PSA: Tic Tacs are NOT sugar-free
Good to know! I can eat an entire plastic little container of the orange tic tacs. Before surgery of course. They are delicious!

I'm not hungry... I want food.
I actually feel really hungry at times. I’m 8 days post op and I can’t stop thinking about food. ?

Post-Op / Gas Pains
I know exactly what your going through. I was sleeved on 9/10/19. Gas pains are the worst. I’m still not sure if the pains are hunger, has, or my stomach spazzing out. I feel like I can drink more than 2 ounces. Today I ate probably close to 3 oz of yogurt. I have yet to feel any restrictions other than my stomach start to hurt. The gas pain radiates to my chest. Hang in there. Everyday should get better for us.

Wish I done surgery sooner
This is awesome! It gives me hope. I’m 5 days post op and have been going back and forth regretting my decision. Sounds like it gets better.

Number 2?
Personal question, but about how long after your sleeve did it take for you to do a “Number 2”? ?
-
Still feel hungry
Thank you! It’s just feeling really rough right now and I wish I could eat. Congrats on the weight loss! That’s awesome!!

Still feel hungry
I’m 5 days post op sleeve. I feel like I can easily drink 3 oz maybe more at a time. I was told to just sip one ounce. Also I can’t tell the difference between hunger pains or stomach spazzing. How do you know when your hungry? I’m having an emotional hard time with my decision. I feel like I’ll never be able to enjoy food again.

Any September Sleevers?
