Hi all, My one year surgery anniversary is 7/31. Since surgery I've lost 84 lbs. Quarantine has not been helpful, I am working from home full time now and not getting much exercise. My doctor says I'm doing great in spite of everything. I'm in a size 10 pants size now. I'm pleased with my progress and I will keep going! Hi all, Just checking in. I'm slowly pushing along. I'm down to 194 and wearing size 12 pants and med/leg tops. The weigh is slowly coming off but at least the scale is moving. I've been working from home the last month which I haven't been getting my usual excercise in. I miss the stairs at work. I've been cooped up in my house it seems like forever. I have asthma really bad and cannot risk getting sick. Hope every one is doing great. I had my VSG 7/31/19 and last week I finally hit Onederland!!! It's such a great accomplishment and I'm 100% focused on getting to my 1st goal weight! Best decision ever!! Surgery was a breeze, my pain was managed with only Tylenol once I got home and that was only the first couple of days. I went back to work a week later. I look and feel great!! I too wanted the bypass to lose the maximum amount of weight and my doctor felt I could achieve the same results with the sleeve even though I suffered from GERD. I trust my doctor and I'm very happy with my surgery.
