July 2019 Surgery Siblings Post-Op
Hi all, My one year surgery anniversary is 7/31. Since surgery I've lost 84 lbs. Quarantine has not been helpful, I am working from home full time now and not getting much exercise. My doctor says I'm doing great in spite of everything. I'm in a size 10 pants size now. I'm pleased with my progress and I will keep going! Hope everyone is doing well, happy 1-year to all of my July siblings!! 5'4" HW 297 VSG 7/31/19 SW 266 CW 182 1st GW 170 2nd GW 135 "With God all things are possible" Matthew 19:26

July 2019 Surgery Siblings Post-Op
Hi all, Just checking in. I'm slowly pushing along. I'm down to 194 and wearing size 12 pants and med/leg tops. The weigh is slowly coming off but at least the scale is moving. I've been working from home the last month which I haven't been getting my usual excercise in. I miss the stairs at work. I've been cooped up in my house it seems like forever. I have asthma really bad and cannot risk getting sick. Hope every one is doing great. Stay safe, stay well. 5'4" HW 297 VSG 7/31/19 SW 266 CW 194 1st GW 170 FGW 135 "With God all things are possible" Matthew 19:26 Sent from my [samsung Galaxy] using BariatricPal mobile app 3rd

Cold ? Feet ?
Best decision ever!! Surgery was a breeze, my pain was managed with only Tylenol once I got home and that was only the first couple of days. I went back to work a week later. I look and feel great!! Total life changing experience. 5'4" Starting weight 297 VSG on 7/31/19 Surgery wt: 266 CW 205 GW 135 Sent from my [samsung Galaxy] using BariatricPal mobile app

Why did you choose the surgery you had/will have?
I too wanted the bypass to lose the maximum amount of weight and my doctor felt I could achieve the same results with the sleeve even though I suffered from GERD. I trust my doctor and I'm very happy with my surgery. I have not had any issues with GERD since my surgery. 5'4" Starting weight 297 VSG on 7/31/19 Surgery wt: 266 CW 206 GW 135 Sent from my [samsung Galaxy] using BariatricPal mobile app
