  1. Faybie. You're awesome!!!! Thanks for that list. it looks great! Jamie.. I was warned before surgery that there could be some post op depression which is a side effect of the anestsia (sp). I felt it off and on but just kept myself in a light happy mood. hahaha If the hubby ticked me off I noticed it!
  2. Hey Fellow August Crew, I'm 3 weeks out since yesterday and feeling really good. My clothes are loose on me already. I haven't had much movement in my scale in the past few days, which is a bummer but I'm ok with it. I'm getting ready to start a workout routine though. I do notice that 3 weeks out I'm getting more hungry. I already miss the small amounts i started with that satisfied me. I'm looking forward to a fill. You're all doing amazing and I'm glad we're all together. Hang in there! The best is yet to come!
  3. I love the black one too. I'd go with that one Mary. You'll look amazing! Wear a pearl necklace with it.

  5. I remember flying to vegas once stuck in the emergency row with a married couple and I told the guy "if this thing goes down, you're throwing that open and me and her are outta here!" hahaha. He said ok. My first bite of mushies was a bean Soup with canadian bacon. It was sooooooooooooo good! I'm having a hard time right now. I'm three weeks banded today but the anniversary of my mom dying is coming up quick and one of my best friends just found out yesterday that her mom has terminal cancer and it's just bringing it all back to me. I want to EAT EAT EAT! Though I can't eat much I am making very bad food choices. Yesterday my calorie intake was about 1900 instead of about 900. I feel like I'm going nuts. Too much anxiety.

great idea. I'll drink 64 oz of water, walk 30 min, eat yogurt for lunch and something healthy for dinner.
  7. That's awesome Dawg. I think that I prefer other days of the week too. The days when there's a decline in the number on the scale. hehehe. That didn't happen for me today
  8. So who else has lost weight this week. Anyone? Anyone?
  9. I was banded on August 3rd and so far I've had a small piece of pepperoni pizza with no problem. Spaghetti was no problem. mac and cheese was no problem. Pork fried rice was no problem. A club sub sandwich with the bread was no problem. I've had NO problem with eating anything so far. I just eat a very small amount and chew it until it's mush and swallow. very small bites so I'm not swallowing a big bunch at once.
  10. That's gas. My doctor did an EKG on me because I complained of the same thing. It was gas and lasted 3 days unfortunately. Good luck and hang in there!
  11. MMMMmmmmmm... CHEESE! But is Cheese going to give you an email address and phone number for lapband support? NOOOO! :scalesno:
  12. one cup of cream of wheat with 1 oz of skim milk and 2 tsp of sugar if I have time and want something hot or I'll have a container of fat free yogurt. I had 2 eggs scrambled with a little bit of cream cheese and it upset my stomach soemthing fierce. I love breakfast.
  13. Nana... EEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. You mean I missed my chance to save a little bit of money? hahahahaha.
  14. Libra... I had the same thing with my teeth. It was the back teeth. I was wondering if they were protesting lack of use. hahahaha. It did not feel good. I've been getting a random hiccup here and there. Drives me nuts. And I agree..it does NOT feel good. My clothes are starting to droop on me. My friends are calling me saggy buns. hahaha. I've lost 20 pounds so far.
  15. I offer a pamplet and my email address and phone number for half price to you guys only! Bid today! $2.50 for this limited time! There will be a $90 handling fee.
  16. Paul...you could start a new fashion craze!
  17. Yay Paula!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you! You're doing great!!!
  18. Brandy. That was from me. It's in a church over by sparrow hospital and it's for weight loss patients in general. I'll go if you wanna go so that we're not the only lapbanders there. what do you think?
  19. Yay Jamie!!! Welcome to the party! Welcome to the crew Lisa. The Gas X didn't do much for me honestly. I know it helps others though. I'd just suffer through it during the day and at night for the first 3 nights home i took my liquid loratab (vicodin..whatever) and it'd put me to sleep pretty good. I only had gas for about 3 days though.
  20. Isn't that a great feeling Robin??? I love it!
  21. Libra.. Yes people worry about eating in front of me as well. "is this ok? Is it ok?" I said "as long as I have something to eat as well I'm fine. Eat all you want, I don't care!!!"
  22. Just wanted to check in. I'm over 2 weeks out now and feeling really good. Fitting in to clothes I couldn't and I'm down 19 pounds. I am starting to feel more hungry. Eating 4 oz doesn't seem like it satisfies me for very long like it did a week and a half ago. I'm still eating way less then before though. I'm just happy to be off the liquid diet "THANK THE LORD!!!!" All you newcomers, hang in there! Good luck to those who are to be banded this week!
  23. I have one too. I laminated it and keep it with my license and med insurance card in my wallet.
