I had to start with a fix to my esophagus and repair a hernia. Now it's my turn to make this work. Before, the foods I was supposed to eat created acid. So I ate the food that didn't create pain. I gain 40 pounds. Now, moving forward with my new revised tool.
Highest weight presleeve: 281 by the time I had courage to get on the scale.
recorded weight before sleeve: 281
Weight before this procedure: 231
Goal weight: 159 to 161
New year and new plan. Goals set and this time I have help.

I had a sleep study last night and when the tech measured my neck she said, "You sure have a tiny neck!" !!!!!!!! Ha ! A year ago I sure didn't. Guess I will keep my tiny turkey neck over what I had before. Hopefully this study will show that I don't need my CPAP anymore.

I miss rice! oh how I miss it... 💔 it feels like something is missing in my meals. It truly breaks my heart.
All the rice I miss: arroz chaufa, arroz verde peruano, arroz a la jardinera, arroz con gandules, arroz con vegetales, arroz con mariscos, arroz con habichuelas y salchichas, arroz anaranjado... the list can go on.
I also miss cuban sandwiches.

Actually, Angie bear, you look incredibly slender and stylish here in these more tailored styles like this pencil skirt and fitted shirt. Your previous suit outfit had that same effect. Not that you should dispose of the creative artistic sensibilities... I'd just make my core foundational pieces more tailored, then accessorize with your wonderful avant-garde flair! Those really cool pieces will take center stage when paired with quieter undertones. Love this outfit! Did you purchase it?

I'm going to get selfie taking skills from my niece this weekend as I've found that hubby is going to be my rate limiting step to posting OOTD if his expressions while taking my pictures is anything to go by!!!!![emoji28][emoji28][emoji28][emoji28][emoji28][emoji28][emoji28][emoji28] So freaking hilarious!!!!

22 lbs in two weeks is way more than I lost. It took me about six weeks to lose that much, and we started out at about the same weight. If you're comparing yourself to the people on "My 600 lb Life", don't. Those people are starting at WAY higher BMI's than the average WLS patient. You are doing just fine!
