I had to start with a fix to my esophagus and repair a hernia. Now it's my turn to make this work. Before, the foods I was supposed to eat created acid. So I ate the food that didn't create pain. I gain 40 pounds. Now, moving forward with my new revised tool.
Highest weight presleeve: 281 by the time I had courage to get on the scale.

recorded weight before sleeve: 281
Weight before this procedure: 231
Goal weight: 159 to 161
New year and new plan. Goals set and this time I have help.

I’m sorry that you had a rough start. I hope your revision went well. Good things coming your way in 2020. Cheers!

  • Good luck on your weight loss journey.

  • Congrats! Take it one day at a time, one meal at a time and follow your doc's instructions to the letter. Don't deviate. This is the time to get super serious and capitalize on your honeymoon period!!

I am not take anything for granted this time. I am moving forward one day and one pound at a time.

Working out when cleared. My doc told me to slow down and he believes in me. Now, I am learning to believe in myself.

I on full liquid diet until the 30th. I am lossing weight. I am afraid it's only temporary. I might just keep it this way for 6 months.

Then, I should be fine with protien shakes and I low cal meal for lunch.

I have been through heck. I just go back out the hospital yesterday. I had so much pain in my adornment. I have lost weight. Need to lose more. I am just not sure how to balance it all. "Extremely GERD." I have pills that help me hold food down. However, by not eating I am lossing weight. I have to eat to live! I just wanted to lose weight and be healthy.

My head is all over the place.

What surgery did you have first and what surgery did you have to fix things? I'm having surgery Feb 3rd to fix my acid reflux. I had the sleeve and got an mgb which they said would fix the reflux and now it's worse than ever and I have to get an rny.

My sleeve was done 8/1/14. I had my hernia and esophagus repaired 12/2019. Bypass was the best option. However, not covered by my insurance. I knew this after months of appeals.

Now, my surgeons and other doctors would like me have bypass. However, at this point I am not sure that is my best option. My sleeve is "perfect." I just don't want to have more complications. I just want to get healthier and lose more weight. That is happening because I can again barely eat. So, I am going to wait.
