RoseKay91 reacted to Sophie7713 in Pounds lost
I am 3 ½ months out and have lost 60 pounds. I arrived at Onederland this past Friday at 198. I have not seen the 100's in over 20 years! My next milestone is to achieve another loss of 68 pounds to settle around 130ish. I'm only a petite 5'0" frame, and prefer not to look "just chubby". Very thankful I'm no longer morbidly obese, and continue to strive toward normalcy to the fit and trim range. Looking forward to a much different and better end of 2019 holiday season. I love my new sleeve and the endless possibilities...
Any other height challenged individuals out there? What is your ideal weight goal?
Congratulations to all for your weigh downs and continued best wishes. Happy spring!

RoseKay91 got a reaction from Ruby Hernandez in Can I still have my VSG if I’m on my period?
I was on my period (day 3) on the day of my surgery. It’s not a problem.

RoseKay91 got a reaction from Deenial in Return to Work after Surgery
I took 2 weeks off but for me, I had no pain at all 4 days after surgery so I went back to work the following week. (1 week off). I do have a office job so no heavy lifting or anything. I think it all depends on what type of job you have.

I have surgery on April 29th and plan to go back on May 6th one week after. I work in an office, no heavy lifting and free to move around as often as I want to.

I had my surgery on April 16, 2019. These are all the clothes that were too big on me so gave it to goodwill.

RoseKay91 reacted to Lizbethj in Stall already?
I stalled on my second week , it’s really annoying , I kept looking at my book asking myself maybe I’m doing something wrong but I’m now on my third week and the scale is moving , everyone is different . My friend lost 50 lbs in a month and I’m on my third week with only 30 lbs down .

RoseKay91 reacted to angie_is_losing_it in that horrible stall
I am 8 weeks and I have been hovering around 307-306 for over a week now. it's been driving me crazy!!!!!!! I think you get spoiled because in those first few weeks you see the scale changing every day and once I started on regular food that is when the stall started. Arrrrgh!!!!!!

RoseKay91 reacted to MeanSleevedMachine in that horrible stall
The way I broke stalls was the reverse of what everyone in this thread is saying. I did two things anytime I stalled more than a few days.
I upped my calories 150-200 per day at each stall and drank a ton of water/tea the first few days. I also stopped all exercise except walking for a few days.
Once I started losing again and my body didn’t fear starvation, I went back to business as usual.
I never hit a stall longer than a week with this. Well, until month 9. By then I had lost almost 200 lbs and intentionally started eating more to slow down the weight loss as I slide into my goal weight.

RoseKay91 reacted to Frustr8 in New to everything!! stall and sick
Stalls are really most like " pauses" your body is regrouping internally, once it is ready your weight may drop suddenly. Many do it at 3 weeks, one girl said hers lasted nearly 2 weeks but then she dropped 5 pounds, and often when your weight doesn't change you may still lose inches. Stalls are frustrating but seldom if ever fatal. We go into this WL derby thinking we will be like a smooth- driving race car, Varoom Varoom, instead we are more like a Junker Jalopy, Chug a Chugging along. Oh we will make it to the Finish Line, but it won't happen today or even next week, but bye and bye it will happen! Chin up, bajankat, it's all GOOD!😛🍀❤
