Food Before and After Photos
Today starts a 3 day long weekend of LOTSA FOOD, as its the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. I had planned to just wait until tonight's dinner party to eat, but I'm kinda hungry now so....salad it is to tie me over till then. Romaine, carrots, cucumber, feta, bacon, & some canned tuna (with mayo, seafood sauce and spices): 378 calories. Aiming to eat just enough of this to satisfy me as I wanna same room for the food goodness-es tonite, lol. We'll see how it goes!

Food Before and After Photos
I dunno, its weird...i still love food, but its not so much about actually eating it anymore...i really just enjoy cooking it, plating it, planning to cook it, looking at pictures of it, smelling it, watching others eat it. And - don't judge me - I absolutely LOOOOOVE reading restaurant menus in their entirety. I probably spend more time perusing the menu than I do actually eating. Not sure if this is some weird mental issue, but i seem to be functioning well in society so its all good. LOLOLOLzzzzzzz.

How many days in the hospital?
1 night in the hospital for me. Went in at 9am Wed morning, and left at 2pm Thur afternoon. I probably would have been fine to go back to work in a week (if it was a desk job). I remember getting super tired really easily with any exertion so anything more than sitting at a desk would have wiped me out. Good Luck! ❤️

What does 4-5 months out look like for you?

So i did JUST say i would cut down on eating cookies, but that doesn’t mean I can stop baking them! I find I am a late-night-boredom baker and here is a batch of ginger snap cookies that I whipped up last night due to the aforementioned boredom. I haven’t eaten any (yet?) but if I did, one would be 100 calories.- Food Before and After Photos
Coconut shrimp…mmmm…yummmmm- Food Before and After Photos
Operation Try-Not-to-Eat-So-Much-Crap: Day One. Gonna try to cut down on the alcohol, cookies and popcorn I’ve apparently been consuming quire a bit of late. Just to see if I can! Today’s salad lunch: 238 calories. Still in the middle of eating it, and will likely finish all of it by the time the day is over. There is a bunch or romaine leaves under all those toppings, swearies, lol- OOTD
Sittin’ on the porch just chillin’ with my feet up. Just had to take a pic at ALL THE EXTRA ROOM i have in my rain boots since losing the weight ….I remember being so bummed that I couldn’t get my giant calves to fit into tall boots…now i’ve got room to spare! *high fives self*- For the Trackers: What's your diet been like the last 30 days?
Yes, fun…but definitely NOT for weight loss phase!- For the Trackers: What's your diet been like the last 30 days?
Yeah...I tried to find the feature in the mobile version, but it only does it for max 7 days. The desktop version does charts for 7, 30, 90, 180 days and 1 yr. Oh, and it also does export (to .CSV format) for whatever duration you want.- Post-op Anxiety
I'm 3 years out, and over 2 years in maintenance. Like some above, I weigh myself every morning (to make sure i'm not leaning to far above or below my happy weight range); I track everything I eat (to keep eye on caloric intake), get some exercise in (run min 5K 2-3 times a week, plus other random activities here and there: dancing, hiking, swimming). I've figured out that at my current activity level, i can maintain my current weight at around 1800 cals a day. Other random things I do that I *think* contribute to MY maintenance (or could just be habit now and may not actually be making a lick of difference, lol): I try to keep bread, rice, pasta intake low. I don't completely avoid them, but they don't have main billing in my diet, or even supporting cast. More like nameless extras with non-speaking roles, lol I make it a point to never eat to full. I may not always succeed, but I try. I wear tight pants. Don't laugh, but having tight pants on when I go out for dinner helps to ensure that I won't overeat to over-fullness, when it's easier to do so cuz I'm just sitting around a table for hours with food, you know? I always share desserts (or get a mini/micro one) cuz I know dessert is my downfall. I don't eat before noon if I can help it. If my weight goes above my happy weight range, I cut some calories until I until I'm at the bottom of said range (luckily this hasn't happened in over a year...knock on wood) I do my running in the morning so its done and i don't get a chance to procrastinate throughout the day. That's all i can think of at the moment, but I'm sure there are a whole bunch of other things I do....- A little rant about the grocery store and overly friendly men. LOL

Ha, I had a better offer...lololozzzzz- For the Trackers: What's your diet been like the last 30 days?
So I was curious and went into MFP to find out what my diet has been consisting of recently. I pulled up the data for the last 30 days and was (sorta, kinda) shocked to see that the majority of my calories came from Liquor, Cookies and Popcorn ? #YIKES. These items were also the highest in frequency consumed. With an average of 1700 calories a day. I suppose my salads were so few in calories that they just didn't make the Top 10??? Does this mean I drink more martinis than I eat salads??? #DOUBLEYIKES While my weight has been rock-solid-stable for the past 30 days (well, for the past 2 years, really), seeing this report has spurred me to clean up my diet. Thanks, MFP. Soooo...for curiosity and accountability's sake, what have y'all been eating the past month???? P.S. I'm 5'2", 116.9 lbs this morning, and 3 years out from sleeve surgery.- Food Before and After Photos
I think you should consider Professional Baker as an option. I'd definitely be a repeat customer.- Food Before and After Photos
Lolololzzzzz. It's EXACTLY like dinner roulette!!! I'm totally going to incorporate that term into my vocabulary ?- Encouragement needed
Like others said, give it some time, you are still very early on and things will settle to a NEW normal. Water: i had pobs the first week with water…tasted so metallic to me. Found that in could stomach it if it was hot/very warm. Then a few weeks later, could only stomach it if it was ice cold. Now i can drink all kinds if temperatures. Further, the first couple weeks i could only get down tiny sips . Then suddenly I was able to gulp down lots (found this out by mistake when i was super thirsty and didn’t think to sip). Gurgling: I’m one of the ones that this still happens to years out (ill be 3 years end of this month). Not as often and loud as before, but still. It sounds like i have a swamp thing living in there. Hang in there, a year from now you can laugh at urself looking fab in a bikini. Good Luck! ❤️- Food Before and After Photos
Fam went to Korean BBQ (without me!) but they brought back some Banchan for me (traditional Korean side dishes), which, honestly, is my fave part of Korean BBQ anyway! Clockwise from top: Seasoned black beans, spicy marinated dried cuttlefish, spicy anchovies & peanuts, and radish kimchi. About 1.5-2 tablespoons of each. Total for plate: 170 calories. Ate it all.- First All Inclusive vacation
Ok,I really just pulled up the logs for my own curiosity. That and I'm bored. For funsies, here are my food logs for the first 7 days of my first AI vacay post op (@10 months, and in maintenance). Again, it is probably highly inaccurate as I was just guessing what was in the food and tried to pick the closest match from the MFP database. Also, all those mojitos were actually vodka sodas...i think!! Looking it over I guess I ate more crap than I remembered! Averaged about 2200 cals a day.- Food Before and After Photos
Tonite's dinner: Mango salad w/ cashews, mint and ginger syrup AND a teacup filled with Massaman Chicken Curry: ate all 430 calories worth of it.- Scar camouflage tattoos
I wanna see his pics, please!!- OOTD
Super cute slides, @Arabesque!! With a lovely pedicure to boot.- Stepped on by small dog (Ouch!)
I sneezed once and felt sore for hours. (and I turned out ok, ?)- OOTD
Smart decision to wear more fitted styles...looks fab on you! ...and I like the colour!- OOTD
Ah, we can be dress twins! I like the fit up top on the longer dress! The shorter dress is fun and cute, the longer one shhhhhexxxy. ? ...and that watermelon drink looks sooooooo good. - Food Before and After Photos
