  1. Yesterday Friday, Feb 21 Maintenance : 5'2" / 1.33 yrs PO Sleeve / 114.0 lbs ---------------------------------------- Seriously. If I don't go grocery shopping soon, I'm going to have to go back to eating all the sugar-laden stuff in the pantry... Also, had a weird day of slimies and chest fullness yesterday. I barfed up slime 4 times. Finally took a Nexium around 8pm and felt a little better by bedtime. And this morning I feel fine again. ---------------------------------------- 10:00am - black coffee w/ stevia 12:30pm - 1.5 oz pork adobo + 1.5 oz roast chicken + 1.5 tbsp tzatziki + 1/2 tsp chili oil 4:30pm - 1/3 cup cashew milk + 1/2 cup cottage cheese + 1/2 fl oz pumpkin seeds + 1 oz blueberries 7:30pm -3 oz roast chicken + 1.5 oz pork adobo + 3 oz pan fried brussel sprouts in bacon fat + 1/2 cup cottage cheese + 1.5 fl oz pumpkin seeds --------------------------------------- Totals: 940 cals - 85g Protein - 42g NET carbs - 49g fat

Look at 'em trim thighs ? You could fit 3 of you in that chair... Re: Wine...there will NEVER be judgement from me. ?
  3. From what DOC told me (and what I've read online), the massaging is to help break up scar tissue...so yeah, I think it to help flatten it out and not be so hard. I dunno if its working much on me as I am being very "light touch" about it. Doc gave me a demonstration of how much pressure to apply and it HURT!, I haven't even come close to massaging myself at that level! But I do what I can, my incisions do feel a little better afterwards, and the seem looser (could just be all in my head though). My scars on my tummy and boobs are pretty much flat, but sections along my arms are still raised. HOWEVER, they are still pretty red-ish in colour. I tend towards Keloids, so this was expected. I'm ok with it, historically my scars fade, but it takes longer than regular people. Though Doc is giving me steroid shots next month to help them along. I'm really happy with the end result size of my arms a well (despite the fact that my muscles have gotten noticeable smaller the past 2 months...well at least to me). Even though the recovery was/is not ideal, I'm still glad I got it done. But this experience has soured me for FUTURE PS though, lol. Can't wait to see some after pics! ❤️ P.S. I put the tape back on just on my arms yesterday and feel "safe" again. LOL
  4. Awww...you are adorable ❤️ Congrats on the weight loss!

Well that's a good reason to buy new ones. AND i don't think the expense should be counted towards your clothes budget as the new shoes can be considered to be operationally necessary to replace an already existing function. Right? LOL

I'm surprised you haven't blown your entire budget for the YEAR, with all the cool new threads you have been modelling for us ❤️
  7. This is more or less what I did. I was pretty strict on salads and protein and low carb and low cals throughout weight loss phase. ...once that was over and settled into maintenance, I'm alot more flexible, and have been known to indulge every once in a while. Since you are still in weight loss phase, the approach you stated above is probably your best bet to be even more successful. Also, you may very well form habits during weight loss phase that you can carry into maintenance that will help you sustain your goal once you get there. ❤️

Every day should be a Friday. Lookin' Good! (also someone already pointed out your cool shoes, but I'll do it again, since I love em: COOL SHOES!)

Love this outfit. ...off to go buy me a pair of skinny khaki cargo pants...(and a tan leather jacket...)

Yep. Definitely time for new chinos. P.S. Loving those black leather sneaks.

When you are done with it, before hemming it I can borrow it. You may have to wait, LOL @Sheribear68 is next in line. You two are both so nice and tall and slim you guys would look great in it. Although it may be easier to pick one up locally, shipping is expensive from Canada. ? Today I went with another new cardigan. Sorry no skinny jeans today. But the jeans still fit good. I know once I find a style I like I buy multiple. I need to stop that. Anyone know where I can find some fitted work tops? Everything seems so baggy with the styles. Like @GreenTealael mentioned, you may have more luck in juniors or even children's sizes. My absolute fave cardigan is a Large size GAP Kids one. But...you are 5 inches taller than me so it may be cropped on you...though that may be a good thing
  12. You may just get used to it (as it looks alot of us on here have ). Also, you would be able to sort of "ease" into back sleeping because you will likely be propped up on pillows for the first little while. Good luck with your surgery!
  13. Boo about the Bio Oil...did you switch to something else, or are you going au naturel? Doc basically said the exact same thing you said: that getting a butt lift would be basically completing an LBL on me. And that it would not provide volume, just skin lifting. Which honestly is my main purpose of addressing my a$$. Yes its flat, but its the quadrouple-chin effect under my butt cheek crease that I cannot stand (I'll DM you a pic in a bit, it's pretty funny looking).
  14. She is ok (@chayarg, hope its okay I said this), but I'll defer to her to provide details...

I've started a small collection, LOL. Only downside is peeing in public washrooms....

Mr. scored us tickets to a show tonite, so I get to get dressed up again! I'm wearing like 4-inch heeled booties to try to hide the fact that I didn't get this jumpsuit hemmed yet (even though I bought it months ago...) You can't tell so much that its a tad too long when I'm walking (or sitting with legs crossed), so I gotta make sure I'm only doing one of these things, lol.
  18. Okay, so your picture reminded me that I invited BFF and her kids to come over tonite to help polish of some ice cream I've been impulse buying the past several weeks. Just went to the freezer to see if we have enough for everyone. Um, I guess the answer is a resounding YES. (man, I did not know we had accumulated this much...i totally forgot about the Haagen Dazs, it was in the back)
  19. ...ahhhh....ice cream (and cookies) is my Kryptonite.

    You're purty ?
  21. Did you snore before? I sounded like a bulldozer (so says Mr.) pre-wls, and if I rolled only my back while sleeping, it would make it worse and I'd even wake myself up sometimes. Now that I don't snore anymore (in the beginning Mr. told me he would check if I was still breathing in the middle of the night, I was so quiet), I find back sleeping no prob. ...oh and also, laying on my side hurts my knees or my hips, so I don't do that for very long.
  22. Soooo....went to my 2 month follow up yesterday and Doc scheduled me for some steroid shots next month...I guess he is not happy with my my scar healing (I was fine with it, but I guess he knows better ) He also asked me again to not wear my tape as much as I have been. I wear them basically 23 hours a day and he wants me to halve that, if not more (he asked me to do this last time, but I didn't listen...but since he asked AGAIN, I guess I should pay attention). I have been tape-less since about 6pm yesterday, and it feels odd. Almost as if the incisions are getting sore again? Only on my arms though...my boobs and tum feel the same. *shrugs* I do notice this morning that a lot of dried skin was flaking off the (healed) incision lines...not sure what the impact of this is *shrugs again*. I slathered some bio oil on them (he did tell me to moisturize). Wound update: I was down to 3 open wounds yesterday! BUT...this morning a new one opened on my left underboob due to another suture expelling, so my number stays at 4. Le sigh. Btw, Doc says that part of the reason why I'm expelling so many sutures is because I am "so skinny". Something about no where for the sutures to be absorbed into. On another note: Speaking of being "so skinny", when I asked Doc about what we can do about my saggy butt, he said that I am not a good candidate for a BBL in my current state, unless I want to gain at least 10 lbs OF FAT. Um, no thanks. He also does not support nor perform implants, which left his option recommendations to: Traditional Butt Lift Some machine treatment (I forget the name), which is basically a device that simulates 100's of mini squats per session (think Dr. Ho's) Actual Squats I'm gonna go with the Actual Squats
  23. Yeah! I wanna see! I wanna see! LOL.
