    Current Struggle: keeping the cals down to 1000. If I'm honest they're more in the 1250 range which the old me would have been thrilled with, but at only just over three months postop, it's not great. I do so well during the day, but the evening is dangerous.

    Yeah... I started eating Nuts like it was the Zombie Apocalypse and I'd never see them again 😓. I *forced* myself to slow down but it was a problem for a while...

    I'm craving either plain ol chocolate or salty pretzels. Nuts help with the pretzel craving but haven't figured out how to deal with the chocolate craving yet!

    Hershey's does make a sugar-free Syrup and it's only 5 calories per TBSP. I keep it in my house to help get me through those chocolate cravings. Not going to lie...I have gotten a tablespoon and squirted the syrup into that and just eaten it out of the measuring spoon. The chocolate struggle is real.

    Thank goodness you're craving lunch meat and not cake. 🙂 I received some bad news yesterday and started to comfort myself by eating a donut, but I took one bite and didn't like it, so I'm really glad I didn't follow through with the bad habit of using food and I'm glad I didn't like the taste anymore.

    I still just want a freaking SALAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crunchy, savory, yummy salad!
    Other than a tootsie pop at a basketball game, I have not had a sweet since prior to pre-op diet. Oddly, I crave salty/spicy almost entirely. Tried to eat pho....epic fail. couldn't get much at all down the hatch!

    The base is Acai, banana, and almond milk. On top is granola, hemp/chia/flax seed mix, Peanut Butter, strawberries, and blueberries. Measured and logged everything, roughly 260 calories and 33 carbs. Hard to limit the carbs when it comes to fruit. That would probably be about 3 meals for me though.

    Being hyper-obsessive isn't exactly a healthy mindset, and not something most people would want to be.
    At 3 months out a few bites of brownie is so terrible, why? Does it really matter in the big picture? Will it make more than an ounce, if that, difference in their weight loss? The issue would be if it was large quantities and/or frequently.

    Fiberous, energy bombs! Trying to make my own healthy grab and go Breakfast or preworkout snack. They are oats, flax seeds, chia seeds, hemp hearts, toasted coconut, Peanut Butter, honey and vanilla.

    Super easy and super tasty!
