  10. You can walk in the mall, it's air conditioned environment plus window shopping. You can walk at home while watching Leslie Sansone's Walk At Home videos on YouTube. Another option is dancing in front of a mirror at home. All 3 options are free of charge. I lost 19lb doing that 3yrs ago. Good luck!

  14. Ooh Frustr8 i admire your determination to live a better life. You're such an inspiration and motivation to me and so many others. At age 60 i thought I'm too old for WLS. At 62 i said to myself it's now or never. Then i read your posts.....i wish i could give you a hug but you're far away from KS. I put September 5th on my calendar....lol

  19. Hi everybody! I'm new here but was reading for 1mo. I'm 62, 5'5" with low bmi 36.4 but i want my healthy and active life back. I started WLS in mid April: met with surgeon, nutritionist, had 5 appts with psychologist and passed psy.eval. I'm in the process and will complete my medically supervised diet in September and will do sleep study on July 31st. My insurance is Fed.BCBS and I'm worried about my low bmi. But i have 2 co-morbidities. I wonder at what point of your process you learned about your surgery date? I assume it is subject of insurance approval? Thank you.
