  1. Penni ~ I'm sure you do get tired of repeating the same thing.....my point was why the mods don't address the SAME person doing the SAME thing over and over. I feel for you. I'm tired of it and I'm not even a mod.
  2. I can understand your concern and your position considering you just had lunch with *****. If you were to sit down with me for 3 hrs or less, trust me, it would be a total different story. I am not full of hate or anger. Just the opposite. I've never been happier in my life. I'm not just saying that....I had a conversation with my mom last week on the very subject. She said how happy she was to hear that. If you lived in my home or where I currently live, you would only hear good things. I carry myself with dignity and character. My only judge is the Lord. So far, I have not felt the need to ask His forgiveness for anything I've done. I do feel the need to pray for someone like *****. You too will understand one day and I pray you are not hurt in the process. She is only using the "Christian" thing as a judgment to criticize and it doesn't phase me. I stand firm in who I am and what I believe. I don't need to stand with Dody, Lisa, or anyone else. I stand on my own 2 feet and only answer to my DH and my Lord. I'm pretty sure they feel the same way, but let them speak for themselves. I do take a stand where I feel harm is being done and if you care to take the time, go back and read some threads....that is if they're not deleted by now. She is known to do that after she changes her mind. I'm not asking you to take any sides. I have friends on here that are friends with ***** and myself. Just ask Dody. When she was friends with *****, I never once tried to change that friendship in any way. However, I will take a stand when I feel it is necessary and am not now and never will be intimidated by ANYONE. Even if they question if I'm a Christian, that is their issue not mine. My posts speak for themselves and so do hers. Did you read anything nasty in my posts? I think not. Read hers. I appreciate your compassion and I know your being sincere. To be honest, I've had some some good laughs and I'm sorry she feels hurt in the process. She should really stay away from threads that bother her. She had no business posting or bringing up what she did on the DeLarla thread which is what started all this drama. She can't dish it out then cry foul. I for one, will call her bluff. Like I said before, you've got to take a stand for what you feel is right. That is exactly what I have done and will continue to do. BTW, she was reprimanded for getting nasty. She's said so herself. That is a prime example of how someone can carry themselves without getting nasty like she does. Maybe it's the wine based on her post saying she had a lot to drink and felt bad for getting nasty. Please do me a favor and plead for ***** to stay out of threads where she KNOWS she doesn't like the people and/or topic. She'll be a lot better off. People grew weary of this stuff from her a long time ago. I hope you continue to be a good friend to her and protect yourself in the process (not only saying that b/c of her, others as well). The only one you can count on is the Lord and He never has and never will fail us.
  3. This was almost too sad to read and brought tears to my eyes. He was very lucky to have such wonderful owners. I too took time off work to be with my baby. I'm sure he took his last breath knowing how much he was loved. Drews ~ Yes, we had him for 17.5 yrs. I grew up with him.
  4. Speaking of boobs. This is too precious. If you were a breastfeeding mom, you can relate.
  5. Hey, I'm in Indiana!! :clap2: Still waiting though in the event it was sent to Northern Indiana. I have my camera ready.
  6. I've always wondered why this doesn't happen. If it did happen publicly people would think twice before they speak and choose their words a little more carefully. I've never been a mod nor would I want to be one. This is the first and only board I am a member of and yet I wonder why the mods don't have more control and/or take more action on those members that can't seem to get a real life. Then again, maybe that is the very reason this board appeals to myself and others. I can live with it. Although, some abuse those poor mods by crying like children at every little thing. I'm sure the mods have better things to do with their time than deal with the same person all day long.
  7. Mine went out yesterday and it's going south of Indiana. Hmmm. Here's a hint: The SS does work that is near & dear to my heart. She's overworked & underpaid. Know anyone like that? BTW, it will be delivered tomorrow via UPS. Anyone south of Indiana better watch out for that cute UPS man. What can brown do for you?
  8. This just breaks my heart. :cry I've buried a few of my best friends. I had a poodle that I grew up with....he lived 17.5 yrs. They become part of who you are. Glad you have another dog around. I just recently told my DH I wanted to get another lab soon b/c Malley is 6 yrs old. I can't stand a house without a dog. It just wouldn't be right for me.
  9. You naughty girl!!! I guess this means I need to change the writing under my avatar now that the question has been answered.
  10. There's not a hairy ass that can compete with breastfeeding boobs. Really, there's nothing like it. Take a look if you must. Edited for content...they are not really black.
  11. Man, you said it Elizabethsew. There are many more important things in life than LBT. I do feel bad for those that get their validation from a website and not in real life. We all have so much to be thankful for and to so many things to be happy about. At least I can speak for myself. In my family we don't have a lot of money as I'm a stay-at-home-mom, but my heart is happier than it's ever been. The future is so bright and I'm so in love with my "3 Loves". T.O.M ~ I think what your referring to is a troll. Really, they are among us.
  12. Me....me....pick me please!!! I know the answer, I know. Wait, I'll have to kill you if I tell you. Sorry to get your hopes up. Hang out long enough and the devil will rear it's ugly head. BTW, how did you manage to start trouble without even being here? IT'S SO GOOD TO SEE YOUR SMILING FACE. Love your avatar. It would be nice to see more pics.
  13. You took the words out of my mouth!! I am tired of it too. Especially since it always seems to be the same people. Do the mods have any discretion to take action? Take a look, you'll see the obvious common denominator with ALL the locked threads. Bottom line, don't go where your not wanted and then cry, "don't tell me what to do". They know they are only there to cause trouble and drudge up the past. If you do, take heed that every member has a right to take a firm stand on their beliefs. Stay away from threads if you are only there to start trouble. A good debate is awesome.....name calling and cussing is unacceptable and should be stopped permanently by the guilty parties.
  14. Your so cute Photonut Susan. You can't help it, I know. Your just a natural.
  15. Maybe I should try this special diet before I get a fill. Hey, if it works, it works. Now, if I could only get my DH off my computer and back on his own machine, we'd be all set for the IM's. Personally hate IM's but you get the point. Speaking of dreams.....I really had a dream that I lost a huge patch of hair after my first fill.....it's scheduled for this Fri. This time I hope my dreams do not come true. :notagree
  16. I see someone still needs a happy pill. Now, what does that "P" stand for anyway? I'm confused. Who's the psycho? Who am I and why am I here. Oh yes, Dody.....your the reason. We will meet face to face one day. Maybe at Tony's house wearing our Smoke jackets. Do you want to take bets on this one?
  17. Anyone up for a good squirt gun fight? Wait, it's supposed to be a laser? My gun's bigger than yours. Maybe this will kill the thread.
  18. Your making me blush.....love you too!!!
  19. Penni ~ I will definitely pray for your precious grandson. I don't know much about leukemia however, my son did have a classmate in PreK last year that was diagnosed with it. She ended up in the local ER and sent her immediately to Indy b/c they thought it was leukemia. They said it was a good thing she came in when she did. She has been in treatment and is now in remission. She will be returning to school this year and taking it one day at a time. I have visited and called them often. I know a little bit from a friend's perspective how devastating this can be. Seeing what this family has been through and learning what little I have, I would encourage the family to find out NOW and not wait until Oct. It could mean this little one's life. Maybe that's what you mean by Oct 18 is too far away. Bless his precious little heart. I am sending prayers up right now. Keep us updated!!
  20. Oooo.....pit row is a good one. I got a couple of buzz words from Nascar.com. How about Victory Lane , Gas n Go, Track Pass? Who is your driver and/or drivers?
  21. Dezadoo ~ I am not a teacher, but teachers are near and dear to my heart. I applaud you for the sacrifices you make for your kids. Good teachers are hard to come by. My son is attending PreK again this year (went part of they year last year at 4 yrs old) and we love his teacher. We have come to know and love her and even exchanged e-mails during the summer. She is a treasure. Tonight I volunteered to be a room mother and can't wait for school to start on Wed. Kind of sad and kind of happy. :biggrin1: :cry So, when do the rest of you start school??? Gosh, I need to buy new shoes by Wed. Better get my butt in gear.
  22. I believe that was the one. We let it eat some leaves off the deck and then left it alone. Maybe we should have put it in a jar for the boys. They would have enjoyed it. Next time, I'll be ready.
  23. Why, yes he is. How did you know? Morsaille ~ Glad to have you back and joining in on the fun. It's been a "big time" as they say in the south. Nana ~ I heard you liked cheese. Is that true? Me too. My favorite. :hungry: Love your signature, especially the "cheesy" part.
  24. Too much fun. Reminds me more of my DH than myself though.
