Bumping this thread. It's been awhile since we've had any updates. I have been enjoying the most delicious tomatoes from my daddy's garden. Mine have not come on yet since I got a late start. Not to mention the huge worm that thought the plant was for him. :cool:

I hate it when people talk out of both sides of their mouth. Like when they post something, delete it, then post something totally different. Like the song says, "You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything". Oh, another thing.....when a person has more than one user ID b/c they don't want other people to know the "real" person inside.

Does Biotin actually build up in your system and help prevent hair loss or does it only help to take it when your hair starts falling out? Like Jacqui said, every doc has different opinions so I'm just wondering what you all think?

Can you believe it? She would wreck a bike now in her condition.

Sept Challenge * I stayed the same again. At least I'm not gaining. :phanvan I have left the nurse 2 messages to schedule a fill and have not heard back. Tomorrow I'm going to call and will not get off the phone till I talk to a LIVE person and get this scheduled. I traveled to OH this past week for a quick visit before the kids started school. I had a terrible tooth ache (come to find out I need a root canal per my old dentist) and couldn't eat for at least 24 hrs b/c of the pain. After the pain meds & antibiotics, I still ate very little. I guess my body is adjusting to my weight loss and has decided to hold on to the rest of the fat. Does anyone else feel the same way? If anything, I'm not getting enough to eat and feeling a bit anxious to get my fill. I want this stubborn weight to be gone!!! I'm still shooting for the Sept 15th deadline. Don't count me out yet. :biggrin1: I would probably get very discouraged without all of you. I hear how some are losing and some are not. It's a journey and I'm glad to be able to cry on your shoulders. This place & this thread keeps me going.

I must be having some serious anxiety about hair loss from reading this thread. Last night I had a dream that I went for my first fill and I had a HUGE bald spot within hours of my fill. I was trying to convince my mom that it was from the fill and not the actual band. It was a scary dream that I haven't been able to get out of my head. I told my DH that I've been seeing strands here & there but nothing serious. I've only lost 25 lbs for pete's sake!! I do have enough hair for 2 or maybe 3 people, so I have a ways to go if it does start coming out. I'm taking my Biotin to be safe. Thanks for all the words of wisdom and experiences shared. I'm ready, God forbid it happens.

I just remembered.....I love the "Chocolate Silk" coffee by Folgers. It is good, good, good!!! Try it if your a coffee drinker.

Thanks to LBT, this was a question I asked my surgeon pre-surgery. He replied that he did indeed use this procedure. Once again, I am so thankful for this site. :biggrin1:

Very well said. In addition, it would be nice to see more people admit that they COULD be wrong or accept a different point of view. My views are not perfect for someone else, they are just MY views/opinions. I expect to hear different opinions.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE chocolate!! I certainly don't eat it everyday, but I HAVE to have it during my TOM. I eat a few Hersey kisses or M&M's and give the rest to my boys. My youngest calls them purcy kisses. :biggrin1: I also keep sugar free chocolate pudding or sugar free mint chocolate chip ice cream and suck on the chocolate pieces. That does the trick for me. There are also times I convince myself that my chocolate Viactiv is a treat b/c it is very sweet.

I share your sentiments exactly. This is a place of great knowledge and friendship. The learning never stops as we all experience different issues. I would also like to say THANK YOU ALL!!!

Glad to hear you are all safe. I am terrified of tornados. My son calls them volcanos, he's five. When we were house shopping, I refused to even look at a house without a basement.

They are not always thread killers initially, but I hate TROLLS. Come on trolls get a real life.
