O.K. not 4 sure what is going on today, but if not better tomorrow will call dr. I have been blessed with a easy post op, until today. I am p.o. 3 weeks 1 day... woke up with a small twinge on left side between port scare and another scare from band. did'nt think a lot about it. went to store and almost passed out. came home cold and clamy and shakey, side starting to hurt bad.... drank protein shake felt a little better, but not real stable....was sitting in fav. chair when dd came over with grandkids...could'nt hardley get out of chair because of my side. have'nt sat in it since. had lunch, they left got shakes so bad could'nt hardley move without feeling like I would faint.....other dd gave me oj to drink...helped me to bed. 4 hrs later(now) still sore is now swollen...gas-x has'nt helped. still shakey. antone else have this problem? emotional eater that's mad
Sorry this happened Sheemac. A lot of parents will teach their children not to make fun of handycapped people, but won't teach them not to make fun of overweight people. It is sad that parents don't think of it. My children and grandchildren know not to make fun of people. My middle daughter might of been 12/13 when I overheard her and 1 of her freinds make fun of someone fat. I went off the deep end. I asked them if they would make fun of me and they said no because I was a mom! I had a lot of school tales to tell them...needless to say they both learned a valuable lesson that day. One of these days someone will make fun of them and they might remember some of the people they made fun of and feel remorse. Just remember won't be to long before your thin and you won't hear stupid people making fun of you.

Newbie - Anxiety and Panic
I can understand about anxious and restless. Not so much the panic unless I start trying to look to far ahead. I think because food has been such a big part in our lives that the thought of not eating as much and having our "shield" to hide behind that can be very scary. Good luck to you and it will get better.

just need to vent...or something!
Hello CharMD. It seems that a lot of people heal really quickly from LBS. So it might not be as hard as you think. Especially if you can get it before your partner has their surgery.
