Surgery weight 211. 7 months out at 140.

-71, I’ll take it.
-85 from my highest of 225 which was right before pre op. Only 10 more to go!

I’m 5’2 and started at 199 with a 37 BMI. I was sleeved 6/6/18 and I am now 169. So I’ve lost 30 total in 5 weeks. My goal is 140.

I am 5'6" and weighed 215. I'm a little over 4 months out and have lost 54 pounds total so far.

Hello ya'll! I'm new here...this is my first post/reply although I've been reading a lot of posts for the past month...
As a former gynecology nurse, I will tell you that Tylenol is NOT an anti-prostaglandin whereas ibuprofen IS. The cramps we experience during our cycle are due to the hormone prostaglandin which causes the uterus to contract. Ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil, Aleve) and Midol etc. are anti-prostaglandins as well as anti-inflammatories/pain relievers and that's why they are recommended over Tylenol/acetaminophen.
Having said that, of course the wise thing to do is to check with your clinical team

Contact your doctor. Today he told me it was ok for my excedrin Migraine. I’m one year out. Before that he only allowed Tylenol

Thanks silly kitty. It always astounds me how different the medical advice can be surgeon to surgeon. Mine advises that taking NSAIDs could be life threatening. Wish these doctors could come to a consensus for consistency sake.

Some programs do allow limited NSAIDs , especially if the patient is on a PPI, and sometimes taken along with an acid reducer like Tums. So it is not a cut and dry never again for everyone.
@gully90 I'd suggest asking your surgeon's office, if Tylenol doesn't work for you

I’m coming up on my 6month anniversary this weekend. I’m so thankful to have found me again. I’m proud of this journey and blessed. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. But the best!

Diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol are gone. As are antidepressants. And last weekend I was a smoking hot momma of the bride.

How much is yours? I am paying $10,000. Which is pretty cheap for the US!

What was just ambrosial to me when I finally got to soft foods was simply (puréed) refried Beans + a wedge of laughing cow cheese. Simple things! 😆❤️

Sleeve is based on BMI. I had a 37 BMI at 199 lbs, which is obese for a person who is 5’2. My surgery weight was 192.4. If you are above a 35 then it is normal. The surgery adjust to the body. It helps remove 50-70 % of your excess weight. 
I know I got asked why I was doing it a lot but it was necessary in my eyes.

I’m 5’2 and my highest weight was 199 which was on 5/30/18. Surgery Weight was 192 on 6/6/18 and my current weight is 176. I’m almost 3 weeks post surgery. Goal weight is 140. I had the gastric sleeve!

That's great! The first week seems to be a little rough for most based on what I've read but you have passed that and on your way to the finish line...YES!! Can't wait to join you real soon.

Sure can! I mastered it pre surgery....that and my instant pot save me alot of time and no extra fat involved:)
