  1. Same. I drank about 112oz yesterday, and I'm hoping to get as much in today, cause I can't stand this anymore!
  2. Keep the things that tempt you out of your house; that will help you the most. Track your food; this will keep you accountable. Be sure that you track every single bite.
  3. My thoughts exactly! I'm very happy for you that you realized you gained some and are working to correct it. That is a huge win!
  4. I think you're doing great! Since my surgery, which was 3/20/18, I've lost 162 pounds. That's less than 15 pounds a month. Don't get discouraged. It all adds up!
  5. So, I've been getting dizzy when I stand up. It doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen regularly enough for me to notice. Well, yesterday, it happened every time I stood up; I would get so dizzy that I would just have to stand there for a minute so that I wouldn't fall over. Well, today, on top of the dizziness, there is a pressure in the back of my head when I stand up. I just spoke to a nurse and explained it to her. She asked me a few questions, and I explained that I usually get my water in, but I haven't the last 2 days, and she thinks that could be it. Anyone else have this issue?
  6. I didn't, but it's possible to as your body is probably still in the healing phase. So, it's possible that you're swollen.
  7. Yes, it's happened to a lot of people. Being that close to your surgery date, your body is more than likely still healing. So, it could be swelling that's causing the scale to not move. Keep at it; the scale will eventually reward you for your hard work!
  8. I'd say that it will depend on the size you were when you began. The larger you were, the more excess skin you'll have. No amount of exercise or creams or anything will stop us from having excess skin. Our skin was extended to store the fat, and it doesn't just all bounce right back. I'm still a ways from goal, and I can already see that the 200+ pounds that I've lost is now forming excess skin. It's not terrible, but I'm sure it will get worse. I'd rather have loose skin than it be filled with fat though.
  9. Oh yeah. I'm obsessed! I'm pretty sure I've watched every episode, and I watch the new episodes every week. I find it fascinating.
  10. They do, but probably not enough for you to actually tell a difference in your energy levels.
  11. I ate off my plan last week, because I was in a show, and it's hard to stick to eating to certain things when you're constantly busy, but I still lost weight, because I barely ate anything. Anyways, I just told myself that it was time to eat right again, and I did it. That's how you get back on track; just do it. If you're not tracking your food, you should be. It's a HUGE help. You stated that you aren't drinking enough water, so you know that you need to drink more. You've got this!
  12. I'm glad that everything eventually worked out for you. Sorry that you had to go through all of that.
  13. I'm sorry you're having a rough time. Yes, a visit to the doctor may be in order. Thinking of you and wishing you well
  14. Congrats! You both look fantastic!
  15. Congrats on your success, and Happy Birthday!
  16. My "I've had it" moment was when I had to get my annual physical that my employer requires. It took 3 scales before they found one that would weigh me. The very next day I went to a Bariatric Info Session, and I signed up to meet with the surgeon.
  17. Awesome!!! I cross mine all the time, now that I can!
  18. Thanks, Kim. Yeah, I think my mom is just so used to seeing me really big, that even though I'm still pretty overweight now, she doesn't see that. Yeah, I know I'll be happy in the low 200s, if that's where I stop losing. That'll be okay. Heck, I'm happy where I'm at now, but I'd like to get to a healthier size.
  19. So, I shared with my mom that I would like to lose another 78 pounds, but she doesn't think I need to. I mean, I've never been this size even, let alone smaller than this, so I don't even know if 175 is a do-able goal for me, but it seems like it should be. BMI-wise, I'll still be overweight. I'm super happy with where I am, but I want to keep going. I guess I don't really have a question; I'm more just getting this out there. I guess I really won't know what my body is capable of until I get closer to that weight. I was telling a coworker this, and she said that she thinks that I need to workout to tighten things up. She's right; I do need to workout, but things on me will never be tight, and I told her that. I will have lost close to 300 pounds when I get to goal, and people that lose that amount of weight aren't going to have tight skin; that's just the way it is.
  20. I go at least once a day, sometimes twice a day. Everyone is different when it comes to this question.
  21. So, I officially weigh less than my license says I do. This is the first time in a LONG time that I can say that! Feels good!
  22. I've also told everyone. I understand why some people would want to keep it to themselves, as some see it as the easy way out....little do they know. I just don't really give a you know what what anyone thinks though.
