  1. AAAACK! I have been trying to avoid a platter of brownies in the break room all day. Finally, at 4:00 pm, I lost the battle ?

  5. Websites: I love Skinnytaste.com. It has great recipes with all the nutritional info. I'm going to try this recipe for jalapeno popper "nachos" https://www.skinnytaste.com/jalapeno-popper-nachos/ Also, Sparkpeople.com. Just found this recipe for low-carb tortillas that I've got to try: https://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=3452540
  6. ???Does that count as exercise?
  7. Focus first on the fluids. We want you to stay out of the emergency room. ?

  11. All I can say is "God help me" if any girl scout cookies cross the threshold.
  12. Welcome, Tiffany! This is a very friendly and support community and there's a lot of information to be found in the threads!
  13. I'm not diabetic, but I had a revision. My surgery was on a Wednesday and I took off a week and a half. I have a desk job. Good luck!
  14. That's beautiful! Happy Birthday to your whole family!
  15. No, the vacation is to stay in Palm Beach a few days after the move to relax. That's the part he's upset about. We are proud of the kids. They're doing their best to stand on their own two feet. ?
  16. Yes. Hubby is handling "empty-nesting" well, to the point of ecstatic. However, we're driving Thomas out to Florida with a U-haul. Hubby is fine with that. We'll stop in to see our daughter and drop off some of her stuff then go on to our son's new place the next day (about 4 hours away.) Again, hubby is ok with it. The next day, we'll take him shopping, stock up his pantry, etc. At this point, hubby is getting panicky. I'm just trying to stay there one or two days without work to do and he's getting angry. He does NOT vacay well. As @sillykitty said, I need to find a travel buddy!
  17. My current struggle is head hunger. I think it's because another of my kids is moving out in about 10 days. Self-medicating. One is only about 50 miles away, but 2 will be 1,100+ miles away in Florida. The fourth one is still at home but will be graduating in September. I may chain him to the porch. Empty nest syndrome - big time!
  18. I also had a lot of pain in that area and thought surely, if it were gas, it should have been gone by then.
  19. Welcome and best wishes on your surgery!
  20. It's just like Game of Thrones - if you've got great hair, you can't risk hat head!
  21. Thank you! Can't wait to try them!
  22. I'm trying to explain this to my husband. From his perspective, I should feel all hot and sexy now. I'm still ashamed of myself. Part of me still sees the fat me, the other part focuses on the loose skin and thinning hair. UGH! I should be so pleased with my progress and all I do is critique myself, and cruelly! Mind games are the worst!
  23. I have added 2 cushions to the chair I sit in while watching TV and had to get one of those silicone honey-comb cushions for my seat at work. Princess and the Pea, anyone?
