  1. And Monk finding true love with a squid! We're definitely related somehow!
  2. Never give up! Never surrender!
  3. Maybe we'll watch Galaxy Quest tonight or perhaps Spaceballs!
  4. You're not jacking! You're contributing!
  5. Congratulations! Feels amazing, doesn't it?
  6. Best wishes for a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery!
  7. My surgeon said pretty much the same about occasional use of nsaids while on a ppi. He had me on them for back spasms for a while. But, be very careful and use sparingly.
  8. Man, all this "getting picked up" talk is a flash-back to high school for me. There was this one guy in our speech class who used to pick me (and my desk) up and carry me around the room. I wish it was because I was irresistible, but I always figured that it was because I was the biggest girl in speech class and he was just showing off how strong he was. The teacher would follow him around impotently saying "Orlando, put her down!" Understandably, I skipped speech class a lot.
  9. Great photos, you look amazing! Thanks for all the support you provide to everyone on the site! Especially for leading the challenge ges and all your positive comments and encouragement! ?
  10. We'll, except for the part about forgetting to eat, that's me!
  11. I was told yes, take vitamins for life because you cannot eat enough volume to get everything from food.
  12. I think I may try to make something like that on a silpat mat.
  13. Looks great, how much could you eat! You must have an awesome non-stick pan!
  14. No, not an NSV, because I don't think there's one of us who wants it! More like a lost-weight penalty!
  15. Neither did I! Don't know what he was thinking! I'm sure he hasn't read this thread!
  16. Have you taken probiotics since surgery? I was given antibiotics in the hospital which caused me to have terrible diarrhea. A few days on probiotics and I was much improved. Good luck!
  17. I was 58 when I had my surgery. Lost over 100 lbs. the first year and hit goal (122 lbs) shortly thereafter. Don't let age be your deciding factor.
  18. Asking for a friend . . .
  19. A newborn calf, a cinder block and a couple of guinea pigs!
  20. It's just fluids and swelling, don't worry!
