I am going through the menopause right now. I lost slowly in comparison to some but others may have lost slower than me, its all relative. I do know I have lost almost 100lbs since starting last year

I'm post-menopausal and mine is going what I would consider to be slowly, but I have to keep reminding myself that slow loss is better than no loss at all.

people lose at all different rates for all different reasons (age, gender, starting BMI, metabolic rate, whether or not you lost a lot of weight before surgery). I'm sure menopause can be a factor.

Some posters have commented that post-menopausal women (I am one) have a more difficult time losing weight and do so at a slower pace. Is this true? Has anyone any personal experiences, advice, or successes to relate?
