I gained 10 pounds of water weight in the hospital. It goes away pretty quickly, and you will soon start seeing weight loss. Good luck!!

Don't panic, it's not real weight gain. You just had major surgery. It's fluids and swelling and stuff. Quit weighing yourself for a while. This too shall pass.

They pump your body full of air in surgery

Think of this as the long game.. dont get caught up in one week post op.. just focus on healing
