  1. My original doctor told me I was going from hypo to hyper. At the time I felt no effects. Now it feels like I am on speed. Jittery and heart racing. Doctor went on maternity leave and unfortunately new doc only checked TSH and not T3 and T4. My sister is a pharmacist. She said she sees this all the time and by what I described she said definitely a thyroid issue. A TSH test is only as good as what is happening at that particular day and time. When I got off thyroid no problem. Then got back on half a pill a day and now having problems. So I am now oversensitive to it. Benadryl has no effect on me. When I take 4 benadryl melatonin and 2 Tramadol and still can't sleep then we have a problem. I don't do intermittent fasting. My body goes into overtime at night. Anyway, going to just get off of the thyroid for a month. Instead of going through Endocrinologist I will have my PCP reorder the tests but this time with T3 and T4.
  2. As with most overweight people I suffered from hypo thyroid. However I am now at 205 lbs instead of 343 lbs and my hypo thyroid is now hyper. I got off the synthroid for a week. I wasn't sleeping at all and quite jittery. So then cut the tablets in half. Here I am tonight again and feel like I am on speed because everything is racing. Anyone else experience this? Driving me crazy.
  3. I like the pro Muscle Milk vs the Genuine Muscle Milk as the pro has 32 grams of protein and the Genuine only 25 grams. I also would buy the Vega Chocolate powder and add a scoop of peanut butter powder. It was delicious
  4. Core muscles very tender. I would say 2 to 3 weeks.
  5. I had mine April 3rd and was 276. Now 237. The average for the first 3 months is 30 to 40 lbs and the same for the 3rd to 6 month. So that means in 6 months you will lose between 60 to 80 lbs on average. I hate the taste of water so I use Mio in everything. I think you are on target.
  6. I am just beginning my journey but down a total of 100 lbs from last year and 52 lbs of that has been since April after receiving the surgey. I am frustrated as i have always been discriminated against. I have been doing my job for 29 years. I have a great reputation and am very knowledgeable. However I always get passed up for promotions and advancement. Tired of it. So am hoping that what happened to you happens to me. Although at 57 YOA may have to deal with age discrimination next. People don't know how to treat you if you are different in anyway. Anyway at 240 so still have a long way to go but getting there.
  7. Again putting a tablespoon of combo chia seed and flax seed in with quarter cup of oatmeal and a scoop of protein powder has made all the difference and I have Crohns disease. What kind and how much a day?
  8. Only when I have a major dump the night before which happens occasionally. Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app

  10. What kind and how much a day?
  11. I take 12 grams of prebiotic fiber a day. I also deal with Crohns disease.
  12. I am so sick of being sick with constipation. I had stalled so upped my protein again. That worked but found that is what gives us constipation. Drank half bottle of magnesium citrate, took some Miralax and may have to have a couple more doses of Miralax before the day is over. Yes have been taking fiber too! This is getting old for sure. 13. Diabetes gone and now going from hypothyroid to hyperthyroid. So will have to adjust meds. Had surgery April 3 and lost 16 lbs in pre OP and another 32 lbs after surgery. Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app

  17. I was hypothyroid and after a month and a half I am close to being hyperthyroid.
  18. Sorry, absolutely hate fish. All full of radiation these days or mercury so what was healthy now very unhealthy. Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app

  20. I am in my 2nd month as had my operation on April 3. I have stalled twice. First time 9 days and this time for a week. So it is frustrating. I am going to add more shakes and less food today. See if I can jumpstart this again.
  21. The celebrate bariatric vitamins have all the necessities l. 500 units of B12, 3000 units of Vitamin D3 and etc. You also need 1500 mg a day of calcium carbonate or citrate a day. Take 1 tablet after each meal and take the vitamins 2x a day. You can get that all from celebrate. You probably want the bariatric vitamins with iron. As I am post menopausal I didn't need the iron.
  22. Omg you need bariatric vitamins immediately. Order from Celebrate. Your management should have given you a book with vitamin requirements, the different eating stages and etc.
  23. 2 weeks is standard. First week is very sore core muscles with 4th day severe constipation. 2nd week spent on learning to eat with new stomach and new diet. Lots of organization between meals, water, vitamins and supplements. Juggling act.
