Weirdest things you are looking forward to after surgery
They are and look wide-eyed at me like " I can't understand why you're offended? Its only the Truth, after all!" Truth, bull-feathers, they just had no upbringing to quote My Own Country Granny, Grandma Ads. They seem to think I'll be inspired by their constant put- downs--- when I merely die a little inside every time.

Yuck artificial sweeteners
Stevia, monkfruit, agave. I like monkfruit best, stevia close 2nd, agave a little rich for my budget. Now if I was in Arizona, make My own cactus juice, somebody, I believe AZhiker uses prickly pear juice, but alas I'm planted in Central Ohio, fairly big Sugar Beet producers but that went Bye Bye with my surgical slashing day!

Funny NSV and Kinda Sad NSV
My little trick was to stand next to someone else also weight- blessed, that way we didn't make such a crashing contrast. Now, with 120+ pounds gone, I may get brave enough to not be in a group shot but stand proudly all by myself! Hello Hello New Wonderful Life, I hope you and I may become Good Friends!

Can you eat potatoes on Pre-OP diet ?
Mine wouldn't allow starchy vegetable including peas which I would not have considered starchy . Salads,1 meal at or below 300 calories, loved Lean Cuisine and it's cousins, otherwise. fluids , limited and approved fruits and protein shakes. Had my surgery in Columbus Ohio, the home of Abbott Labs so given a gangoozle of Ensure coupons, hey it helps when you're on a Social Security limited budget, really does! I lost 15 pounds on my 1 month Liver- shrinking diet, took my Hepatic Organ from NASH to smooth, sleek and healthy like a Baby calf, so worth the restrictions for the Greater good. And since he Didn't have to use the Industrial- sized liver retractor I didn't have the tummy pain many suffer! And A win- win for all concerned.

Had my gastric sleeve today
Feeling shitty is 1/2 your body's reaction to the insults done to it in the name of positive health science, 1/4 recovering from anesthesia and 1/4 emotional let- down after summoning enough courage to go through and have your Surgery. Most of us run at a fever- pitch tying up loose ends, making. sure nothing blocks you when you have travelled so far in so many ways to Get Here . Promise, Day by Day you are going to feel better, expect a let-down about 3 days in, 72 hours at. High Emotional Energy is about all one body can stand. For me or was also the day I went home, I ached , was weepy, oh I was glad for my surgery, really I was, but on the surface " Sweet Mother of God, WHAT DID I LET ME IN FOR?" But very soon the Sun will shine, the Bluebirds will sing and the flowers bloom, and your world?will be a wonderful new place to live and your future will shine forth! And you will be like me, telling the " Newbees" "You can do it, You really can do it, I've been there and I know! "And to. all them, you will be the Veteran , the Mentor to guide them on their way too! So smile?, sip, sip, sip, do your "Walkies" be happy you've been this chance, remember not all of us get approved the very time They try and I think you'll do Just Fine!

A little Wednesday Morning Reflecting
Now that is One of our former Presidents I would have loved to meet and talk to. If he had 1/2 the sense of humor as his Daughter.Alice Roosevelt Longworth, he would be Fascinating, simply Fascinating! And a plug for my Natal and Still My State, Nicholas Longworth was. once a Congressman from Ohio.

Super frustrated
Check with them, my son got a booklet with approved providers in it, never gave me one, maybe only one to a household? If all else fails call them or you have an HMO through them , call those 0people. Tomkitten has Caresource, I have a more Traditional form called Medicaid for Qualified Medicare Recipients, his covers 99,9% of things , mine because of Medicare Part D and all has a bunch of co- pays. As an example TK and I were both prescribed the same medication, same dosage, his was FREE,, mine. was NOT covered, had to pay $26 over the counter. If it hadn't said on the bottle " Don't share medication with others" the standard warning, I would have taken his and saved my ? money. Ah but I am honest, did it the right way, and someone gained the profit, wasn't ME.
