  1. I also have no issue with meat. I eat KBBQ pretty often, it's a great high protein meal.
  2. Sincere question: Since you are trying to maintain, but are still losing, albeit more slowly now ... why are you trying to stay low carb?
  3. Still not IF-ing here, since I'm maintaining without it. But somewhere back in this thread I posted about my mom doing IF. Well she has now lost over 30 lbs and is into a normal BMI range. She hasn't been this thin in 30 years! She is insanely pleased with herself (as she should be). She's wanting to lose another 5 lbs or so, not more than 10 lbs. She didn't lose the weight through IF alone. She has basically been on our post WLS diet, 800 cals max, 60 g protein (with cheat days). But the IF has made it really easy for her to eat so little, but not be hungry. She said it is by far the easiest diet she has ever been on (and she's done them all over the years!) So I am still vicariously IF-ing! ?
  4. @ms.sss, super insightful post. I was in the same position as you 6 months ago. IME at about 1 yr post op my restriction lessened dramatically. So getting in 2K calories is a whole lot easier. It doesn't feel like a chore!
  5. Good morning everyone! Dropped a little weight again this morning. Back to my normal maintaining weight, so feeling better about that. But drank a ton of calories last night, so might get an upward bounce in a couple of days as a consequence, we'll see. Today's challenge, take a bubble bath. I might get in my hot tub as a substitution, or might not, it's pretty freaking warm here!
  6. You can take as much food as you like, with the exception of liquids, and liquid-y type foods. Why are you restricted to 4 protein bars?
  7. I drank alcohol on rare occasions during my weight loss phase. My first drink was less than a month post op. I DON'T recommend that, but there were extenuating work circumstances. I decided after that that I would very rarely drink because I did not want the extra calories. It seemed crazy to eat 500 cals, and then drink another 100+, that's an extra 20%+ I didn't need. Once I got close to maintenance, I began to drink similarly to how I did pre op. It's probably somewhat less now, because my tolerance is a little bit lower, and I can't drink & eat simultaneously.

OOTD #2 I'm forced to "dress up" for errand running today. One of my errands is going into my work HQ to pick up and drop off a few things. That means I had to shave my legs, do my hair and make up ? ? Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, you've seen this dress in slightly different colors before. If I like something, I'll often by multiples, especially if it's on sale (I may have 4 of these dresses in different colors )
  9. Good news, I dropped a little weight this morning, so I'm not so close to my upper 130 lb limit ? Because of this challenge I walked to my dry cleaners this morning. I would normally just drive since I'm going to be out and about running errands anyway. So I'm halfway to my mile goal today. Work has been crazy, so I'd love to be back in Barbados, laying on the beach, under an umbrella, being brought rum drinks in coconuts ? (doesn't hurt that the drink vendors are gorgeous either!)

Pretending like I’m sporty... going to walk to my dry cleaners ?
  15. Congrats, sounds like you're doing great! You can calculate your BMI here https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/educational/lose_wt/BMI/bmicalc.htm It looks like you're about a 41 BMI

    Option 2, all the way!
  17. I still haven't peaked! I think I either missed my window, or my calling! ?
  18. That is a great goal! I'm pretty open that I'm not a super great rule follower. But I drank almost no alcohol during my weight loss phase. That was a huge deal because my work life includes A LOT of drinking. So it's great that you recognize that it will hold you back from your ultimate goal!
  19. I'm so far behind on this thread! I'm in for August Goal is same as last month, stay below 130 & walk at least a mile a majority of days. Sleeve, 18 months post op, in maintenance 129.8 lbs, 23 BMI Fun fact - I have visited 32 states & 20 countries (I don't count if I just land or transit through a state or country) Day 1 - Wake up early - Yeah, no way, I get up plenty early as it is. Day 2 - Read a book - I'm not sure my schedule this month will leave much time for reading (I'm not off to a great start, am I? ?)
  20. Late ... but closing out the July challenge! Stay below 130 - Semi successful. popped up above 130 twice this month for the first time in 3-4 months. I'm taking it as a warning sign that my honeymoon period might be ending? But weighed in this morning at 129.8, so I'll take that as a win! Walk at least a mile a majority of days - Yes, 22/31 Do some of the arm exercises - complete and total fail Participate in the photo challenge - Meh, I'm not good at vague ones, like "happiness"
  21. It actually wasn't even good mac & cheese

I've been MIA, so many gorgeous outfits to catch up on! I LOVE monitoring Amazon's price fluctuations, can get some serious bargains! (I also have many "all Amazon outfits ?) I share your Navy blue love as well! These jeans look great on you. I agree with the other comments, they don't look too tight. I find tighter to be more flattering because it holds the jiggly part in. And your hips aren't a problem area! They are beautifully feminine! You can't have curves without hips! Noooo .... you will stretch the top out Get your own! ? Love! It looks cute, comfy & fun!! ❤️ Serious #goals here. I think my crop top days have passed me by, even after plastics. Yay! More fitted is definitely suiting you. Are you finally feeling as skinny as you look?? You guys all put way more effort into errand running outfits then I do. I only try to not look homeless! ? Did you find any espadrilles? Yes, I love the shoes, and do a lot of black & white outfits! I think I need some sailor pants now. Love the blue and grey. I never feel like I can pull off the tie neck shirts, but you have inspired me to try again. My favorite slacks I went from 20 > 16 > 12 > 8 > 6. Funny thing is now I don't love them because they are not as flattering on skinny me as fat me. Agree with all this!! Gorgeous dress ... You should get it!
