  12. They are so frustrating!!!!!! I know my body is still changing, I lost half a shoe size in the last month and my ankles are smaller, but I really miss seeing that weight fall off.

  16. I'm late to this, will you be doing one in Feb?
  17. Just keep sipping. Like GettinSkinnywithit said, set reminders. I had them on my phone and my computer at work so every 10min I'd take a sip. It took all day but it got easier by the end of the third week. Good luck!
  18. I'm 3 months post-op and things are ok. I've hit a plateau with my weight loss (which I know happens) but now I'm wondering if I'm actually not eating enough, my plateau has lasted a month. I get 600-700 calories a day and over 90 grams of protein. How many calories did everyone get in at 3 months post-op? I have an appointment with my surgeon next month but until then I'm just curious. Thanks

  21. I'm a little over 2 months post-op and I have plateaued. I know it is normal and the weight loss will start again but it is so frustrating. I lost 40 pounds in the first 2 months and now I'm losing and gaining the same 5 pounds. I'm following my plan, working out, drinking water so I know it will kick in again but until them....argh. My hair has also started thinning. I was told it happens around 6 months post op but mine started around 2 months. Anyone else have it start that soon?
  22. I don’t seem to dump. I haven’t tested it out by going carb crazy or anything but I can have a piece or two of dark chocolate or some starchy veggies and nothing happens. Not that I want it to happen but it’s an added incentive to not eat junk.
  23. Sometimes when I eat I get congested and have too blow my nose. About 2 min later I vomit. Anyone else get this? Sometimes I get a hiccup that is my cue to stop, other times I go right to the runny nose.

  25. Hi. I’m 1 month post op today. No major issues so far but last night and today I have a sharp pain at one of my incision sites. It’s the upper right side. I have a call into my surgeon but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Thanks
  26. My surgeon told me to expect weirdness for about 3 months given dietary changes and healing.
  27. Broth seems to always go down easy for me. Almost too easy. I love the slush idea. Thanks!
  28. Some days water and protein shakes go down fine. Other days it’s a struggle. This am even small sips of my protein shake are making me gag and it’s taken me almost an hour to get down half. Is this normal?
  29. My program said no to baby food. They told us that it didn’t have enough protein and had too many carbs. I haven’t looked at a label though.
