This might be asking a lot but I am pre-op and I am so worried what my stomach will look like after the surgery and weight loss!! I am 5'6 and 244 lbs. I am 28 years old so maybe my body can tighten up over time. I am just so worried what I will look like naked after I loose 100+ lbs. I really don't want plastic surgery or to have to always wear shape wear. If you are willing I would love to see before and after pictures of bare stomach!! Please and thank you!

I have been thinking about this and I think I will finally treat myself to the lion head tattoo on my back I have been planning. It will look better when I am slimmer and will be a symbol of my strength and courage through this all!

I didn't realize you couldn't eat certain things like bread! I thought it was just limited in how much. I am pre-op and still have so much to learn!

I am really leaning towards the Blaze. I tried on my friends and loved how it fit on my wrist.

I have had the same concern. I am 5'6 and weight 244. I want to get down to 148 and I am wondering if there is a way to get the weight off and tighten at the same time. I am only 28 so maybe that will help me. Will working out and strength training help with the sagging?

I think age, starting weight, length of time at highest weight and genetics determine the amount of loose skin. You may have it or you may not....luck of the genetic lottery. Exercise and building muscle will help provide tone and definition but there is nothing you can do to prevent skin issues.
I'm halfway to goal and no issues yet. Crossing fingers and hoping for the best.

Your age may help you with some of this but there are no absolutes, just be prepared to be healthy even if there is loose skin. You would want to postpone plastics anyway until you are sure you are done with having children anyway.
My old Weight Watchers leader said her skin tightened up and improved quite a bit but it took a few years.

I had my surgery on Friday and was back to work on Tuesday for a half day. I did another half day on Wednesday then was back to full time by Thursday. I have an office job that isn't too physically demanding and my recovery went really well, though.

You are so brave and I love this post. I had the sleeve done on Wednesday and just got home today. Sending positive energy your way!

I have a long ways to go, but when I get there I am going to go parasailing and horse back riding with my family.

I'm ready for spring break! !!

5 months post-op! HW 244 SW 223 CW 164!!! Loving my sleeve!

4.5 months and so happy!! 91 lbs gone since September 2015. Surgery was in December
I have so much more to lose but I feel so much better.

Almost 11 months post-op, from 252 to 175. Have been stalled for some time (at least 3 months, perhaps longer), but I'm running 5 miles at a decent 11 minute pace, and feel outstanding. These pics help to make me feel better about my accomplishments as well.

I have the Alta HR which is the slender one. I like it a lot, but I think if I could do it again I'd get the wider Charge 2. My husband and SIL have that one and I like the display better. I love having the HR feature and specialized sleep data. It's so easy to tell if you're training in the right range. The one thing I would say is make sure it's tight when you exercise, sweat interferes with the HR sensors.
