Who will like me skinny??
haha thank you! You are totally right. I actually have found a boyfriend who is super understanding of the surgery and effects. He just says I am not allowed to loose my ass. He doesn't care if my boobs deflate haha. He is overweight too and I just him just the way he is!

Mysterious phlegm?
Does anyone else have this? When I eat too heavy of food that my stomach doesn't like I start spitting up sticky clear liquid like phlegm. I just spit it into a tissue but never actually throw up the food. I am 3 weeks post surgery. Anybody know what this is or why my body does this?

Who will like me skinny??
That is great advise! Yes I guess it is ok if they only like skinny girls. I am normally attracted to skinny guys too so I can't be mad about that. I do know I deserve an amazing man. I guess maybe I will have more options.

Who will like me skinny??
I get hit on online easily but rarely if ever in person. Maybe I don't notice. IDK. I am hoping when I loose the weight I will at least notice it... because I know I am not ugly.

Who will like me skinny??
I have always liked skinny guys but don't mind some meat either. I didn't think about if my taste will change! I can't imagine it would. I hope my confidence will tho! Right now I just assume I am a certain type, like I will only look good with guys my size.

Who will like me skinny??
Maybe I am worried that the men who will like me are dirt bags who only like skinny girls. At least now I am not concerned because I know they don't mine extra weight on me.

Who will like me skinny??
My surgery was on 2/12. I have been taking time off from dating to focus on myself. I think it would be better to wait until I'm at least at my goal weight. I am concerned what kind of guys will be into me when I am skinny though. I haven't ever been small. The men who usually hit on me say they like curvy women... what if they don't like me when I am 148 lbs.

Where are all the single cat ladies?
haha this is funny. I have 1 cat. Her name is Charlotte. I much prefer men who like cats then dogs. Cats are feisty and independent but love to cuddle. Like me!

Bras are my enemy!
Every time I eat something I have to unhook my bra or hold up my boobs to allow the food to pass through my esophagus to my stomach. I wish I could go braless but they don't look good just laying there when I am in public. I tried a bralette but that is too much fabric around my upper waist also. I need a better solution!

Embarrassing question for the ladies

Embarrassing question for the ladies
I don't understand... I am only 2 weeks post surgery. What gets smaller? The fat around your kitty? Sex feels different? Is it good or bad?

Any February Sleevers?
My Nutritionist said to try and get 400-500 calories a day for the first week but mostly to focus on getting in enough liquids. 48-64 Oz of liquids a day. I reached my calorie goal easily when I ate Cream of Wheat. I waited about a week after surgery to eat that though, but it is high in Carbs and calories but delicious and pretty easy to get down. I am now in my second week and am told to get in 500-600 calories a day. My surgery was on 2/12 and I just got back to work today. I work a desk job. I am still in some pain and wish I could take some of my harder meds, but I will wait until after work so that I can stay coherent.

I don't have a pre-surgery diet! Just nothing after midnight the night before and had to stop taking all my vitamins.

Weird food tolerance changes
This is so exciting! I have my surgery in 12 days and last night I ate McDonalds thinking I will be sad not to ever eat it again. I hope to not crave their French fries anymore! I want to start liking onions and peppers because I currently hate them! lol.

1 month post op today and feeling frusterated!!
I agree with everyone! You are doing amazing! No need to be discouraged. You are doing this for you not for your surgeon! You need to set realist goals and that is more then most people loose upfront. That is really pushing it! You aren't gaining so I think you are doing great!

Married people....8 out of ten of us will get divorced within 2 years
That is pretty crazy but also understandable I think. I think if your spouse is on board with you during this life change and you have a good marriage then it shouldn't effect the marriage. I have a cousin though who lost a ton of weight and left her husband. She completely changed and I am not even sure if she had a surgery or not but her ex husband is still very obese. I am sure there was more to that but still. I am currently single and have been trying to not date for the last few months so I can focus on bettering myself. Now that my surgery is in 2 weeks I am realizing that I want to stay single during this journey. I am doing this for my own self-esteem and health. I don't need the pressure of trying to look good for a bf and dragging him along on this life changing journey. I am expecting a lot of ups and downs.
