  1. For the past 1.5 mos once I started real food ( after 1 mos post op) I was feeling starved before meals- in fact wrote about it many times. I had been losing 1.5-2 pounds a week starting 1 mos post op. In the last 5 days I lost my hunger. A few times i have gotten hungry, ate, and became full fairly quickly. I have lost 5 pounds in these 5 days. I forced myself to eat dinner tonight ( 4oz chicken and a few strawberries) because all I had was 1/4 cup chicken salad, a few gluten free crackers and 1oz of cheese for breakfast and a wonderslim protein bar. It’s just a strange feeling to not have a desire to eat- even on Halloween ! And my husband is nervous that I lost 5 pounds in 5 days when normally it takes 5 days to get 1 pound off or less. I lost quickly at the beginning which makes sense. Should I be concerned. I feel fine during the day- exercise, work, take care of family etc. I’m drinking all my water too and taking all the vitamins and prescriptions. Just wondering about the sudden change. Any thoughts?? Thanks SW 289 CW 243 Aug 21 /2017. surgery date GW 180 Height 5’8
  2. I still love food. I eat everything but. Rice and pasta. I have had 1/2 a wrap small Sandwhich once in 3 months. I eat Melba toast with tuna or hummus for lunch ( 4 is enough for me!)I have had small tastes of my family desserts. 90% of the time I’m eating clean with protein first and 5-6 small mini meals a day. I’m hungry if I don’t eat for 3 hours and get excited for my food. I usually have big eyes and am amazed that the 4 oz of my delicious normal dinner is all I want because I’m full! I actually leave over 1/2 my meal on my plate and I love that. I bring the rest for my ‘2 lunches’ the next day for work. I eat 3 oz at 12 and then 3 oz at 3 or 4ish. So basically I don’t feel like I’m missing out. I taste things if I want to or most often don’t care to. I love feeling full and satisfied. I am almost 3 mos post op. I exercise at least 5 days a week with walking, spin class or barre classes. Don’t worry. You won’t feel deprived once you get real food which was about a month out for me. 3. Yes. Mine did too. I take it 2x day
  4. I don’t eat for a while and then get starved. Then I eat too fast and too much because I have ‘big eyes’. Then I feel uncomfortable ( I have even thrown up a bit) walk it off. Starve later on and eat again. Yes about every 3 hours. I am trying to eat 4 hrs a part as I think I am snacking too much.
  5. Please explain what IF is. What does a day look like? Thanks
  6. If I eat an extra bite too much. I stand and put my arms over my head. I also walk around the block. That really helos

  8. I have only vomited a few times. I got really hungry and ate too much protein (chicken) too quickly. Sometimes my tummy needs a few minutes to know it’s full. One bite or two over my limit and I feel like it’s stuck and then I vomit. I’m 9 weeks btw
  9. I respect your perspective but I feel it’s your body your choice to tell. Everyone is different. That’s why there are HIPPA laws. Peace!
  10. String cheese too salty now. All other cheese good though
  11. Sorry I’m late. Out of country. 249#
  12. I had sleeve and my kids make fun of me because I burp for 1/2 hour after I eat all the time.
  13. I was on puréed for 4 weeks. You are still healing. Peanut butter did the trick for me when I was hungry. Now that I can eat everything but rice and pasta I don't need the peanut butter. Just try to stick to puréed unless your dr tells you otherwise. I make lots of mistakes and get back on track. Good luck
  14. Are the only meds you cannot take together iron and calcium citrate? I'm taking a lot now and just gulp them down in the morning and then some in the afternoon. Then I space out 3 calcium chews with 3 meals. What I take- sorry don't have all names on me Iron w vitamin c Bupropian Thyroid Med Gallstone prevention (2x) Vit d Women's daily vitamin Biotin Vit b ( shots every 6 weeks) 3 calcium chews a day Just seems like a lot Thoughts?
  15. Surgery date. 8/21 HW. 289 CW. 249 40 pounds lost. Shopping in my closet every day to hunt for new ( old) clothing I forgot I had and love!
  16. 249 today 40 pounds down total in 2 months.
  17. I mix my powder protein choc or vanil with decaf expression hot water a little ice and blend for a mocha latte or vanilla latte. Delish and cheaper than Starbucks. I like bariwise and wonderslim. Also I make chocolate sugar free pudding with premade choc protein shake instead of milk for the extra protein. Taste and consistency doesn't change. I add a spoonful of nutiwhip lite and I've got mousse. Delish!
  18. I also buy a lot of stuff from diet direct. Bariwise and wonderslim are my favorite products.
  19. I had a perfect eating day today and exercised. Thank you for all your support. I love having an anonymous place to vent and get positive support. It's like a big hug for me.
  20. Yesterday I had real ice cream. I was really scared I'd never return to healthy eating. Today I did great. Followed my plan to a tee. I ordered these delicious wonderslim products. They arrived today. The wafer protein bars are the best thing I've tasted in a long time. So I'm going to make better choices when I want something that's a 'cheat' like their bars. It feels like cheating but i know I'm not. I do believe we shouldn't abandon our fave foods. That would be depressing and unrealistic. So a little of something a little of the time is my motto.
  21. Thanks. I needed that support. I'm trying so hard!
  22. I'm not sure why I just had a 1/4 cup of chocolate ice cream.. I just did. My son begged to go get ice cream. I wasn't planning to have some but I ordered A kiddi scoop. Probably less than 1/4 cup. But now I feel so guilty. I think I forgot I had sleeve surgery. I've been eating so healthy so I don't know what happened only that I've been feeling so normal- like these small portions are normal and maybe that's why. Now I'm hoping I didn't screw it all up:(
  23. I have this stupid problem. I cook for my family. Healthy -and food I can eat. Tonight was mini cauliflower cheese soufflé, quinoa spinach feta salad, and Chicken breast. The problem is as I'm cooking I'm tasting ( more salt /pepper /garlic etc). I'm also starving while I'm cooking so tonight I ate a tsp of Whole Foods fresh grind peanut butter to take the edge off. By the time everyone sits for dinner I can't eat because tummy full with tasting. Feeling out of control- I can't wait to eat with my family as I'm hungry and then taste everything as I want the food to taste good for everyone. Venting here!
