  2. Hey, I am 25 days post op and i started stage 4 solid foods. However the moment i eat 2 bites i feel the food coming back up and if it does stay in my stomach i feel slight discomfort from my side, its not pain but its like a uncomfortable poke. Is that normal? Will it go away? And my doctor gave me the to-go for ALLL solids. Anyone else had a similar diet???! Also what type of foods did you guys eat and in what quantities did you eat during that stage?
  3. I am 25 days post op and i have the same problem except this is a constant thing for me. Like the moment i eat i feel like the food isnt staying in my stomach, it bounces back up and i want to throw it up. Its so weird.

  7. That is completely normal. I am 18 days post op and i have felt that exact way since i had the surgery. Yesterday and today i actually had fish and chewed on it, how ever now i am going through the “what if i eat and i have a leak” thoughts. I am following doctors orders so i am not just eating out of no where. The thoughts are still following me tho, its mentally harder than it is physically. But i am thinking of 4 months down, i am thinking of that girl that will be so happy and content with her life. So i am not listening to my negativity now.
  8. Soo, i am in my third week post op and i had a piece fish fila today, i chewed very carefully till it was liquid in my mouth however Is that normal or am i speeding up?
  9. I am at the exact same state you’re in. I hope it passes soon. The mental struggle is more than the physical.

  11. I do but he isnt easily reachable. And these questions just pop in my mind suddenly.
  12. Hey guys. I had my surgery 8 days ago (on the 4th). Now although its not physically possible to be hungry, I am mentally struggling alot. Especially since even when i am just drinking my stomach still feels very uncomfortable. Also, i am still on the “no-caffine” rule and i am DYING FOR COFFEE. When will i be able to drink coffee again? I drink alot of juice, milk, soup and i eat mainly mashed potato for lunch, is that okay or am i drinking too much?
  13. Yes, i had the same contemplation. However i did tell my parents 3 days before my surgery. But i didnt tell anyone else at all. I am 8 days post-op and no one knows except my parents.
  14. Hey. I did my surgery on the 4th of October as well. I always get this heavy gurgling voices in my stomach and throat after i drink anything. Its extremely uncomfortable, i also get dizzy fast. But other than that the struggle is more mental than it is physical.
