Soo, i am in my third week post op and i had a piece fish fila today, i chewed very carefully till it was liquid in my mouth however Is that normal or am i speeding up?

I was on puréed for 4 weeks. You are still healing. Peanut butter did the trick for me when I was hungry. Now that I can eat everything but rice and pasta I don't need the peanut butter. Just try to stick to puréed unless your dr tells you otherwise. I make lots of mistakes and get back on track. Good luck

3 weeks=fish for me...ding ding ding, you're a winner! :)

Normal is different for each of us. Every doctor has a different plan. For me, fish came at week 5 (yesterday!)...but I've read some posts from people who were eating solid food almost immediately after surgery. What did your doctor tell you to do? Do that.

The third week I was still on Protein Drinks. I had to do 4 weeks Postop. Every Dr has their own Guidelines, follow what they said.
