tovasha got a reaction from hillnicole34 in Im SOO HUNGRY! How are you making it through?
Mines was kinda of easy I could have up to 4 shakes a day but i only did one for Breakfast and 1 for lunch and then for dinner I could have a lean Protein and veg. So I would have chicken breast or fish from the a irfryer and broccoli or a salad no cheese no bacon bits no croutons with a vinaigrette dressing. Or cauliflower or mixed veg of some sort.and I lost 15 lbs doing that and I never felt like I was starving. Matter of fact as the week went on it started to feel like to much.

Goal was to loose 100pds the closest I got to that goal was 77pds and over the course I've regained 17pds. I've been enjoying eating bad food even though I'm eating very little so today I've made the decision to STOP THE MADDNESS AND TAKE CONTROL!!!!! I'm beginning the regain maintenance program through the Bariatric 101 plan on FB(they provide a link), drinking more Water and exercising at least 3x out the week(NO MORE BEING LAZY & GREEDY) wish me luck!!

tovasha got a reaction from FluffyChix in I'm never going to get this surgery---discouraged :(
Try the preop diet for 2 weeks and see what happens. It's literally 2 Protein Shakes a day with 4oz of lean meat and non starchy veg like salad or broccoli with a squirt of dressing with plenty of Water. No cheese no bacon bits no croutons. Just lettuce cucumbers bell peppers onions things of that sort.

I am new to this site and was hoping for some feedback. I had my surgery on Aug 14th. I am 2 weeks post op and still feeling very nauseous. It is hard to even drink Water. I have that constant knot right below my chest as if something is stuck even with little sips. I'm trying my hardest to stay positive but it seems almost impossible. I know, well I hope it will pass. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

tovasha reacted to alumascape in Sleeved today, Aug 29th
Hey guys, well I've been a member for a long time but haven't posted until now. I had my sleeve done this morning at about 11 a.m. and I'm feeling great. Honestly, after reading some of the posts here and around the internet and I was getting a bit nervous. I'm happy to report that everything went well and I'm actually feeling pretty good. I was pretty days so it took me awhile to come around and feeling nauseous they had to give me some zofran. When I got to my room I think I hit my pain pump 2 or 3 times and that was it. I was told I probably be staying till Thursday, but hopefully I can get out of here early maybe tomorrow. Honestly, I think I could go home today with no problems but as my wife says just go with the flow. Honestly, I'm a bit upset I waited so long to get this done I've been thinking about it for at least five years. My surgeon was amazing and the staff of the hospital has been incredible. For those of you reading this who are still thinking of getting it done or are on the fence my advice is to go for it. I'll keep this updated and let everyone know how I'm doing in the morning. If anyone has any questions especially those considering the surgery please feel free to let me know, I really want to share my great experience with everyone.
All the best,
Josh

tovasha reacted to cc1018 in Hi, I'm new here
I attended a seminar last week and have my consult with the doc on 9/28. I am pretty excited and terrified.
Has anyone dealt with a lack of support from their spouse? My husband is uncommunicative and is against me having surgery. I think he is nervous something will happen because we know someone who had terrible complications. Any thoughts to help me get him on board?

tovasha got a reaction from skywalker1 in 8 days after surgery and diarrhea
Had the somewhat of the same issue and someone on the forum suggested I try musclemilk instead of premier because it's lactose free. Just bought it and waiting on it to chill. U know our stomach is all different now and it likes things we didn't like before and hate somethings we loved. Before this I had no problem at all with the premier drinks. Give the muscle milk a try.
