Advice Needed

Hello everyone! I recently under went gastric sleeve surgery on Aug.22nd and am recently unable to stomach the protein shakes I normally really enjoyed. I have not gotten my 60gms since the day before my surgery and I know that's a big deal. Does anyone have any advice or ideas?

Thanks

Since you just had your surgery I would probably call your Dr. and go from there. That is what they are for. That is what I would do. Unless you feel more comfortable contacting your bariatric dietitian. They work for you and your success.

Try Isopure ready made blue raspberry - it is a clear protein drink that is a little tart and has 40 grams per 20oz.

You might get better answers on the POST op forum. Good luck!

Maybe try the unflavored Isopure. I did that in the beginning because my premier proteins were to thick and heavy for me. It took me a few weeks to get the water and protein in that the doc required. As long as you keep trying you will reach those goals. Don't sweat it to much in the beginning, just do your best.
