  9. I have a PPI for the reflux and it doesn't seem to be working although I'm sure it takes time. The sugar free pops believe it or not add to my heartburn. I'm unsure if its the artificial sweetners or what. It just seems like it is going to be a long battle right now. Thank you for your feedback I really appreciate it and hope you are doing well.
  10. I am new to this and am looking for some support going through this rather difficult time. I am 2 wks post op and I am feeling kind of regretful. I know this is a life altering procedure that I thought I was prepared to handle but I can't seem to get rid of the nausea and the discomfort of the knot that sits below my chest even after just sipping water. Any suggestions?
  11. I am new to this site and was hoping for some feedback. I had my surgery on Aug 14th. I am 2 weeks post op and still feeling very nauseous. It is hard to even drink water. I have that constant knot right below my chest as if something is stuck even with little sips. I'm trying my hardest to stay positive but it seems almost impossible. I know, well I hope it will pass. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

  13. I am 2 wks post op and I know things get better but I am so unhappy right now. I can barely drink water. Food cravings are long gone and the hunger pain is gone as well. I feel nauseous with every sip and my acid reflux is kicking my ass. I opted for this surgery to help me lose the weight so my dr. Would replace my ACL and now I just feel like I would've rather been stuck in a brace for life. Please tell me it gets better.
