Cheese killing...
I am aware of the thread you are talking about, and I was not here for it during that time. Here is my take on things... Your thread was in the appropriate place, unlike this thread and Lisa's (aka Fitter aka Delarla) thread. It also was a rant in general about all of the fighting and stuff going on. I think that people handled themselves a lot better in your thread, IMHO, than they did in Lisa's thread, esp Lisa's very pointed, and some unsubstantiated rants. The people, myself included, thought it would be more humane to try an redirect an off topic thread with off topic posts. But the board wants blood. People want to fight. And I, along with the other cheese posters, gave those people yet one more thing to get mad at.

HEY FROM Kraggie Hope TN
lets not kid ourselves. the second post this person posted shows that she is OBVIOUSLY not a real person in TN. It was a jab directly pointed at Pnut. During the heat of all this contraversy.

Committment Thread to lose weight
LOL I am really trying this 6 meal a day thing. nothing in between each meal other than water. Each meal is 2 hours apart. and you can only have 6. each meal is 100 to 150 cals each. if you eat it slow you are almost on top of the next meal by the time you are done. i feel like i am eating all damn day!! And I gotta tell you my metabolism has skyrocketed since I started it.

Question about Moderators
*sigh* i have so much i want to say, and so little space to say it. Psusan, you are obviously a second user account of someone who is trying to play games. You came about during this whole fight, and the psusan account was used to try and get a rise out of one of the two people Lisa is so upset with. The information that Lisa has given everyone seems to be information that penni, according to her post, has already shared with Alex. I think this is now in his hands, and we must accept and respect the wishes of the board owner. As for lisa's last post as fitter, I think there is a lot of anger and frustration that time spent away from the board will help. I hope that she finds the time to move away from the board and center herself. It does everyone some good. I enjoyed my time away and it did wonders for me. And I know that focusing on myself gave me time to reestablish my goals. I really do hope that you can do that. As for Penni, thank you for sharing the information that you did. I will not comment on my thoughts and feelings on the subject because i do not think they belong here on the board, but I appreciate your honesty and candor without fingerpointing refreshing. i guess i am sorry to those who were upset that a war was diffused by cheese talk. I was trying to make a bad situation go away. I will do now what all of us should do with this situation...let the mods and alex handle it.

Cheese killing...
donnab we will always be friends. I guess i am a dumbass for trying to get people to calm down and be nice to each other. I came back to this place after being a gone a month because i missed the support and the friends i have. I am not trying to piss people off by being a thread killer. I am trying to get people to calm down so that matters can be handled by the appropriate people. we have already seen one member banned. why have a thread that is an all out war and risk seeing others banned too? Is mud slinging really better than cheese slinging? I think not. Peace out, or how ever it goes.

Cheese killing...
I think it was obvious that one post needed to die. it was being rehashed when it was an issue that needed to be handled by the proper people...ie: not the members of this board. The other thread where cheese has been talked about the thread starter specifically asked for the thread to be killed. wouldn't it be her right to ask for that? There have been other threads while I was gone that the thread killers took it upon themselves to kill, and it worked. I do not see anything wrong with killing a thread that has name calling, finger pointing and totally gross and angry posts in it. Maybe that is because I care for the board and all the people on it. Even the people I don't like. Why is there such a pull to keep threads like this alive? Why can't we all take the advice of the ones who are masking their want to keep them alive with their calls to "just let it go"?

Cheese killing...
The threads they are posted in are off topic, and should be moved. they certainly should not be in the forum this particular thread is in.
-
Cheese killing...
The thread killers do not go into any threads that pertain to the lapband. They kill threads in an attempt to get the board back to the subject at hand. Losing weight. They try to drive people away from the drama of the board wars, and the popularity fights. they try to make people lose intrest in the threads that are driving people apart, and focus on the new people, and the issues and problems that face us all. Isn't that what you really want? For the threads to die and go away, and the fighting to stop? To say the cheesy posts and thread killing is upsetting is to say that you prefer that the drama continue and the wars blaze on. I guess some are here for that. Others prefer to talk about food, and eating, and losing weight.

I'm home from TJ
Congratz!! I hope you have a smooth recovery, and an easy time transitioning back to regular food. Just remember to take it slow and do everything according to what your doctor tells you, not what you feel or anyone else feels. And i wish you much happy and speedy weight loss!!

Question about Moderators
I have a feeling that Pnut was trying to move the thread back to the topic of the board. Not to make fun of new posters. I have never seen or hear her make fun or put down a new person in my life.
