  2. I had revision to rny 4 years ago in May. I have horrible bouts of abdominal pain that has sent me to hospital several times... 2 CT scans, 2 egd and a colonoscopy later...no answers.. I don't see how it can be gas trapped but at this point I don't care what it is I am tired of these bouts that come on whenever out of the blue. It is debilitating. The pain is the worst! I need help.

  5. A year ago I started having awful pain in my stomach that went around to my back, for 6 months I suffered thinking it had to be gas. Nope. They did a a CT scan, upper gi, and a EGD this past Nov and said my intestines were inflamed but can't tell me what is happening or why. I want to know if anyone else is going through this

  15. Its been 2 1/2 years since my revision. Love the RNY so much better. My weight has been stable for over a year now closer to 2 years i would say. So all total i am over 5 years out from this journey and as far as the weight loss goes it was everything and more. I still have GERD ugh
  16. I have the same issue over 2 years after my revision to RNY. The GERD has never left and i am still on the strongest PPI twice a day and I still Burn at times ! Please let me know if you are able to get help. The Dexilant is over $2500 every 3 months !!! My saving grace is that my insurance covers it!

  29. I didnt have to do anything. No 2 week diet before surgery either.
  30. Did it go away? Mine did not. Going in on 12/1. I think mine may have something to do with my esophagus
  31. I was cleared after a week to go to soft including chicken. The only things I didnt get sick on were the protein pretty much in the beginning. I just was careful on amounts and still am because I would get so ill. GL
  32. Everyone is different. It has taken me a long time getting use to. I dont get sick all the time and usually its my own fault for eating too much or the wrong thing.
