central venous catheter before vsg
Nope. I have terrible veins from chemo and radiation, too. And I've never had a central line. Now, maybe they are talking about just getting your iv catheter placed? If so, do what he wants. But it's still weird and more chance of infection cuz they'll want you to shower the night before and morning of with a special soap. I wouldn't want anything in my vein when I'm doing that...

Intermittent Fasting Daily Menu/Results/Accountability
Gosh we're all so different. LOL! I can do 1 cup of cottage cheese and I'm miserably full. But I could have sucked down your P3 and then the pork. But I too feel like I'm cramming too much food into a 4 hour window unless I do a protein drink. You know my cure for protein drinks are mocha frappacinos or iced coffee lattes.

Has anyone gained the weight back?
Eating for 2 is a myth. Concentrate on losing your weight first then have a baby. All you have to do is "eat correctly to nourish you." The baby will get its nutrition with or without your help. It will take from your body. And most of us have enough nutrient stores in our bodies to nourish a child.

candy barrrrsss *super trooper voice*
Are you lactose intolerant? It honestly sounds like dumping to me. I had it just last night cuz I chose to have a crappy dinner instead of my planned dinner. Sucked. It sounds exactly like reactive hypoglycemia and some of the sugar alcohols cause this same reaction in bari-patients.

Intermittent Fasting Daily Menu/Results/Accountability
Yum!!! That doesn't look like 4 ounces of pork loin, though! So are those 2 things your whole meals for the day? Or will you have the beef and cheese when you get home? I think it's probably do-able. Lunch meat is kinda slidery to me. So is cheese to some extent although my tum doesn't like it in great quantity. Post afters!

Went in for RNY & came out with sleeve
I've heard of quite a few who had this occur. But they have done really well with it! The sleeve is a great surgery and many of the most successful vets here have a long term sleeve and are maintaining their longterm goal weights! Congrats on getting through surgery and on joining the losers' bench. You're gonna do great!!! Walk, walk, walk, sip, sip, sip!!!

WTG! So sorry about your loss and the pain/sadness of the parting. You did well! Great coping tools! Don't forget Four Square Breathing or 6:8 breathing and comedies--laughter therapy! Oh and great sleep hygiene (unplug 60-90 before bed, totally dark room or sleep mask, cold, great covers, earplugs if necessary...) Congrats on your progress!- The wonderful compression stockings
I took mine off when I could walk the halls which was same day as surgery. I had the compression machine also and lovenox shots, but the machine also stopped when I started walking.- Major Milestone
