Tummy Tuck items needed?
I also recommend at least 2 sets of good shape wear (not too tight). It helped with the swelling and comfort. I had lymphatic massages immediate after and they worked. Only go to someone who knows what they are doing or it’s just a very expensive regular massage. I was able to do them myself after a while and I recruited my BF (with our rolling pin) to do the areas I couldn’t reach.

Very pretty. I despise tarts, so I’m blaming it also. A Croissant would never hurt you like this.

I'm hungry ALL THE TIME
Have you reached out to your team? What did they think? Are you still allowed to supplement with protein shakes? At 7 weeks post op I wasn’t hungry at all. But some people regain their hunger signals sooner/later. Also some people experience what they think is hunger and it’s either thirst or reflux. I can tell you that I’m 6+ yrs out and I’m hungrier if I don’t get enough protein but focus on carbs. It’s almost like I have to start my days properly (fluids then protein) or I’m hungry all day long. This does not happen If I front load my meals with a protein. I hope you find a solution!

Slider (turkey) I really wanted a bigger/wider patty but shrank while cooking. Ok everyone when it comes to your burgers are you team wide-flat or team small-tall? Does it even matter?

I don’t do this but my toddler meal contribution is I still eat from the absolute smallest plates possible. Worse yet is I’ve put away my regular sized plated so my family has to do the same!

I didn’t eat this dish so as far as I could tell it was only crunchy along the outer edge but there were no complaints about it being soggy.

Miami surgeon recs for tummy tuck please
Usually if the surgeon has a social media presence you’ll be able to find out if they have a specific style (or not). It’s not always advertised as a style by the surgeon themselves but sometimes becomes apparent when looking at repeated results. Researching surgeons that work with your current body type and have a lot of results that match your wishlist (along with safety and price) can be a starting point. Then join social media groups that discuss these surgeons. If you have no specific look your trying to achieve, then you can focus on surgeons with a lot of fantastic results, high safety rating and in your specific budget range. Before I committed to anyone, I asked about credentials, previous employment and social media pages. Then I started looking through their work. Personally, I did not want pay celebrity prices for routine procedures but bargain basement priced surgery was not the goal either. And I think safety outweighs style always.

OOTD
I have been consumed with all things High school these days. My teen’s prom was this weekend and of course she couldn’t make up her mind on a dress. By the time she decided everything was either sold out, not in her size or would take too long to ship. She asked me to make the dress. Here’s the reference and the final product.

What you should know about WLS they don't tell you
I used to be top heavy but now I’m bottom heavy! This is in part due to plastics but some is definitely just the way my body decided to redistribute fat because it started before plastics.

“Just Exercise More”
I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels like this shifts the blame back to the patient’s lack of commitment to exercise!

What you should know about WLS they don't tell you
I should have said immediately after losing a lot of excess weight vs when your weight settles. I think immediately post WLS my skin was thinner (in certain areas) but over time it feels thicker again.

What you should know about WLS they don't tell you
Something I didn’t expect were the changes to body composition post op (not the planned body modifications of plastic surgery) I was surprised to see that my body didn’t look the same each year post op. How and where I carried weight fluctuated each year.

My kid made a large batch of Turkey burgers and I’m the only one eating them ? At least they’re good! I ate about 70% of this but logged the whole meal

“Just Exercise More”
In the past battles against obesity, patients often heard the advice to simply increase exercise. Now researchers are actually quantifying the amount of exercise needed to prevent (and possibly reverse) the disease according to genetic risk factors. Thoughts? How can I possibly live like this?
Have you spoken with your surgeon about this yet? What did they say?
