let me tell you if i would have known, i could have had my psych done earlier i would have. my pcp recomended a doctor she fax all my records over. then the office sent me a packet firms i had to fill out.i did 6 months dietian classes, sept3rd was my last class. so the dietian fax my papers over to the doctors office. i,m sitting waiting for them to call, wrong so i gave them a week an decided to call she said she had everything except my psych papers. if i had only known to do it a head of time.but it,s next week so is my stress test my pcp are giving those to me friday morning. so call the office an ask what pre-op tests they require.good luck sorry for the long post.

good luck you have a date i haven,t had my evulation yet it,s next week then i will be on my way.maybe i will be a october bandit. keep us posted i know you are happy, an excited. all that stuff.can,t wait.

hi my dietian told me when you fill pressure in your chest or between your breast it means you are full. i,m not banded yet.

:rolleyes:here it is sept 16. the nutrionist fax my records over to the doctor,s office. they were their a week from friday so i decided to give the office a call they were indeed there, i,m thinking the office suppose to call me for a appt. wrong she said i have everything except your evaluation i was shock if i had known you suppose to make your own appt. it would have been done earlier. so i ask who she recomend she gave me a name. but he,s in newhaven an dosen,t take medicare he charges $150.00 the one in my town charges$90.00 they are schedule for the 9/25/the other is for 9/24/08. i will stick to the one in my town wtby.so please don,t wait for the office to call you, you call them. i only waited untilfour days. then someone posted for me to call the office a i did.it,s next week so i hope everything goes allright. i don,t know if i,m going to be banded in sept. maybe oct at the most:thumbup:. so keeping my finger cross. good luck to everyone on our journey.:thumbup:

me again you can order opti-fast from walgreens online or just ask the pharmacy to order them for you, the doctors office, wow i see on most post where people have to order from the doctor,s too expensive. your local supermarket has them also have you tried slimfast the lowcarb ones, i drink all the flavors, not banded yet .had to do the 6 months classes lost 27lbs so far sil.

hi i drink the eas protien drinks, the one i drink has 17grams of protien, they also have other eas brands with larger amounts, i bought them at stop&shop four for $5.99 the cheaper one. the rest you can get from walgreens, riteaid, look in the pharmacy isle. the flavors are strawberry, vanilla, chocalate, good luck.
