  1. Playtex tampons only for me! I feel gross when I use pads!
  2. That's great! I am a lot heavier than my husband too, and I am looking forward to the day I'm not!
  3. I know how you feel. My husband isn't exactly supportive either, and that makes it worse. I had surgery 3 weeks ago and last night my husband actually had the nerve to say that I could have done it on my own without the band, that it's all about will power! I am SO mad. I was very surprised to hear him say that. He has seen how many times I tried to do it own my own and failed. I wouldn't have chosen to have major surgery if I could have done it on my own.
  4. lunch sounds great! No, I don't have any children. Do you? I know what you mean about the energy level increasing as I lose weight. That's one reason why I had surgery. I don't want to be a fat nurse! lol. I have been in the medical field for about 10 years or so. I started out as a CNA and then got my MA. I was also a phlebotomist for a while. I like being an MA, you can't beat the hours, plus weekends off. But there's so many people doing it now, it's getting harder to find good jobs at good offices. Plus the pay is not so great. I basically do a lot of the same things as nurses do, yet I get paid a whole lot less.
  5. I'm a medical assistant for a pain management doctor. But I just got accepted for the RN program at Cleveland State. Where did you go?
  6. The nurse at the doctor's office said vitamin E is good, but I don't know if I believe her or not.
  7. Yea, and I really don't see the point.
  8. Where do you get it at?
  9. Dr Paynter did mine at Memorial. What hospital do you work at?
  10. I was having a lot of pain in my side, and the nurse said it was probably because of the position during surgery. She said your feet are in stirups and they are up in the air. The surgeon stands between your legs to do the surgery. Your abs are kind of in a crunch position. I'm glad I didn't know until after my surgery!
  11. Has anyone had any luck with any of the new creams for stretch marks? I have horrible ones on my legs and I'd be willing to try just about anything to get rid of them!
  12. I hope so. I used to have a VERY high drive, but that went out the window a few years ago.
  13. TnTrobillard, I am in Cleveland, TN! Small world!
  14. I just thought of another one. I want to be able to wear short sleeve shirts and not be embarrassed.
  15. Well, I'm sure they get paid VERY well to do that show.

If I waited on my husband to wash the dishes, they would never be done!!

Yes, my Mom is the same way!
  18. You are right about the spread eagle position, but I think you will be fine. As someone else said, they deal with stuff like that all the time.

I'm not domestic either! My Mom is VERY domestic, but I didn't inherit that gene!

What I really hate is washing dishes. I don't mind anything else. I don't have a dishwasher, so it seems like it takes forever. I also hate ironing. Most of my things don't have to be ironed much, except sometimes my scrub clothes for work. But I always put it off until the last minute possible.

    That's the truth!
  22. I have never done one. My Mom does them all the time, but I don't know if they help. She stays constipated, and she says they help, but I just wonder if she is making it worse.

LOL froggi!!!! Mine are the same way!!
  24. I'm sure it will work for her. Not eat for 6 months!! I'm glad I never heard of that diet befor my surgery!
  25. I heard that Cigna has changed their requirements, so you might want to find out.
