  1. Good question. I've never really noticed. I think I spin all over.
  2. Thanks. I am feeling much better now. But I still feel really dizzy when I first lay down or when I move my head a certain way. It is a very strange feeling.
  3. I totally agree about not getting on the scale much. I only weigh once a week. If you do it everyday it will drive you crazy.
  4. Yes, it's true, your feet will shrink! Mine did anyway!
  5. Erykah, I don't know if you've been to the seminar yet, but the Lap Band isn't permanet. It can be removed if something goes wrong. I know how you feel, I had a lot of the same thoughts before I had surgery, but after I educated myself about the band, I felt so much better. I was like you also, I exercised and I also took phentermine for a long time. It works for awhile, but it doesn't work forever and I haven't read any studies, but I will bet that the majority of people who lose weight on it gain it all back plus more. It is not good for you. I have never regreted getting the band. Good luck.
  6. Ok, please tell me how some of you eat sandwiches??! I can't get them down because of the bread!
  7. I am in nursing school right now, but I worked in a very busy doctor's office right after my surgery and I just recently quit to attend nursing school. I know how frustrating it is to not have time to eat like you are supposed to. The doctor I worked for wouldn't even give us breaks and lunch was always rushed. It is very hard to chew right when you don't have time. I used to just take soup to work and eat that for lunch. I would also take yogurt and things like applesause. I know these are all slidder foods, and we aren't supposed to eat them alot, but sometimes we have no choice. I always found that yogurt kept me pretty full. Another option is crackers. I don't know about you, but for me, anything crunchy goes down really well. I used to eat cheesits a lot. You can buy the small individual bags and they really aren't that bad as far as calorie wise and they do have some protein. Peanut butter crackers are another option, also protein bars. Just be careful with the bars, some have a lot of sugar. As far as exercise, there really isn't a lot you can do there, except maybe get in some extra workouts on your weeks off. Good luck!
  8. Mine is in the middle too. I am glad that it is there because like someone said earlier, the scar will be covered if I ever want to wear a bikini.
  9. I am told that it is normal. My period hasn't been right in over a year.
  10. I am 5'7 and weigh about 194. In pants, I am wearing a 16, but they are starting to get big, and I think I could fit into some 14s now. In tops, I'm an XL, but I have big boobs. I can wear a few larges, depending on how they are made. I am starting to see how clothes are made so different, even a lot of the same brands that are the same size fit so different. I am close to getting out of plus sizes and I can't wait until the day when I can shop on the OTHER side of the store.
  11. I have been taking the birth control pills continuously now for about a month. I am having some bleeding, but it is on an off and not very heavy. I am wondering if it will stop if I continue to take the pills. But I do feel a lot better since having surgery. I just hope it is under control now with the pills.
  12. I'm confused. Can someone help me? ANYONE????
  13. I have this really funny feeling in my throat. Can someone please tell me what it is? PLEASE??? If you don't answer me I will start 25 more threads with the same problem stated a different way. Or even if you do answer me, I'm still going to start 25 more threads with the same question.
  14. So sorry, please excuse me. I forgot how serious and straight laced everyone is here.
  15. I prefer the sad ones. They go down better.
  16. I would just get a small fill. Whenever I have this problem, I just get a small fill and it seems to help. If you get a big one, you may end up too tight.
  17. Clowns? Someone say clowns?? I didn't think we were allowed clowns with the band? Isn't that a carb?
  18. I see it as just about everything we eat has something artificial in it. Even fresh fruit you buy. Did you know it has artificial color on it to make it look more appealing? So that red apple you buy has been painted with more red color to make you buy it!!
  19. I use splenda. The other stuff may be more natural but it's also way more expensive.
  20. But HOW do you do a PB????
  21. How dare you call us names? Now I have to start some hate threads about you. As for your question, you'll have to ask PG because we don't do such disgusting things as oral.
  22. Good luck to you both. I have the same feeling about being put to sleep. It can almost cause an anxiety attack for me. But it will all be worth it. You won't regret it. See you in band land!
  23. Yea, it probably did loosen. That's how I am right now too, once I get the first few bites down I can eat the rest. It sucks. But I know it's time for a fill when I get that way.
