My surgery is tomorrow (Monday, August 24th) at 11:30am. I'm dropping my daughter off for the first day of school and rolling to the hospital with my wife.
I'm not nervous about the procedure; my surgeon is the best, most experienced in the state. As with all surgeries (and air travel), my issue is control. I'm unaccustomed to not being behind the wheel in everything I do, so the notion of putting my life in the hands of an anesthesiologist is cause for some consternation. Once I wake up, I'll be fine.
See you on the other side!!
