I've tried the Monk Fruit granulated powder. I can't say it's my favorite, to me it does have an aftertaste, but it's tolerable.
FYI, the agave sweetners are still high in fructose and carbs.

1. Putting myself last on the list of things and people I had to take care of, everything else came first.
2. Poor food choices - fast food, sweets, junk - anything that was convenient because I was too busy to slow down and make healthier meals.
3. Emotional binge eating. I could eat a lot, and rarely did I feel full. All the while I knew I was eating too much, but couldn't seem to help myself, the hunger or need for something to soothe me was always there.

So last week I had to have an imaging test done. The tech had to line up the machine where it needed to be over my abdomen, usually they feel to see where your ribs and hip bones are for landmarks. She walked over to me saying "I need to press on you a bit to line this up", then she looked and said, "Oh, never mind, you're so skinny I can see where it needs to go." And I was wearing jeans and a thin t-shirt! She had no idea how strange that was for me, I still can't believe I was referred to as being skinny!

I work in healthcare also, and what they did was completely inappropriate. Personally, I think they should be called on the carpet for it, or at the very least be made aware of how this has affected you on an emotional level, and about the things you mentioned here about your history. But this is a personal decision you have to make, because this is the office you will be returning to. I feel there will always be an awkwardness there now when you have to return for follow up, and that is so not fair to you.
My thought is that if it happened to me I would write a personal letter to the PA, with a copy to the doctor, on what happened, explaining it like you did here. (Cut and paste saves some time!) This not only affected you, but I'm sure your son was also upset by it. Perhaps a good suggestion would be that the staff involved should attend some mandatory sensitivity training to prevent it happening to someone else, as there is nothing that can be done to take back what happened to you or make it ok.
They are probably (hopefully) mortified by what happened, but what they feel is probably nothing close to what they made you feel.

Glad you have a good sense of humor about it Jenn1. I think I would have said something when he started walking away like, Hey, where are you going with my money?
At the gym I go to, the zumba class got so big they started having it on the basketball court and it's in full view of everyone. There was a guy on the upper level filming it with his phone, one woman noticed him, pointed him out, and a bunch of women got mad and went to get him. He saw them coming and left down another stairwell. He's probably lucky they didn't catch him. They reported it to the front desk and they now keep an eye out to make sure it doesn't happen again.
