Later illl have a cuppa tea And all day I'm drinking around 2 litres of Water sometimes more I'm 5 weeks post op. Haven't had any mashed potato or any high carb veg or Pasta , rice. Have tried a few bites of some Desserts but they didn't agree with me. I also may have Protein shakes ( next to no sugar ) with berries and yogurt Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  14. Yeah I'd be aiming for higher fats and no sugar and under 25g of carbs. And Up the Protein. I don't count calories at all. And I stick to 3 small meals a day with 1 snack Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. Christ I wish I hated the taste of it after the sleeve... nothing tastes different to me at all. So disappointing lol. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. I don't count calories tbh.. I aim ( most of the time) for around 60-70% Protein, high fat and very low carb (from veg only).. Counting calories never got me any where ever lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. I have had it a few times... I get it from eating something that contained too much sugar. I get a little crampy and feel off until 30mins later I'm on the toilet with the trotters... after that I'm good. I have had it from a yogurt , ice cream, and some shitty Italian dessert. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

It's not been that bad. Doc said I should get to 60kgs... ummmmm don't think so and I don't care if I stay where I am now. Blood pressure tablets are now lowered but still on 200micros of thryroxine Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  21. 3 people I know of never had to do a pre op diet.. I had my liver tested and it was. A fatty liver lol. Not all the diets are liquid Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  22. I never counted calories. All surgeons have different ideas about the 2 week pre op diet.... I was told to do Optifast or Optislim..... ... So I either had a shake 3 times a day or 2 shakes and a dessert Or 1 shake , opti chocolate bar and a dessert..or Soup Just had variations of these. I hated it tbh. But I lost a few kilos. It was all to shrink my liver and nothing to do with weight loss. Although if you are morbidly obese to be lighter on the op table would be most beneficial. I started at a lower BMI and a weight of 84kgs... I'm now 70 kgs 5 weeks later ( hit that weight at 3 weeks and have stalled for 2 weeks) .. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. I took 2 weeks cause I drive a truck ( not a small one either lol) and it's physically hard. Water isn't a problem at all. I bring an esky with me everyday to keep my food cool. 24. I was only allowed Clear liquids like broth or Water for one week. No Protein drinks at all yet I did feel pressure in my chest for around 4 days after any fluids. I had no problem with water and was drinking around 1 litre plus a day. I didn't have to sip either which was odd I always thought u couldnt have lots in one go. At five weeks post op I'm way over 2 litres a day... It gets better believe me Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  25. I ate what ever I could purée !!!... except carbs like potato etc in fact no carbs Everything had some kind of cheese in it to up my fat n Protein.
