Popcicles

How long should it take me to eat a popsicle? When I eat them I feel like I need to burp but can't. Just had surgery yesterday and don't want to throw up like others have. Any advice is much appreciated!

It is the gas that is making you want to burp. Give it some time and walk as much as you can and try gas x strips. Popsicles have been a life saver for dry mouth and nausea. When i first had surgery a month ago I could only eat half of a popsicle for a few days, now it's at the top of my grocery list lol..good luck

The first couple days after surgery everything made me burp, it's the gas, gasx strips helped. I never vomited and it did go away a few days later

Your stomach is swollen and everyone is different. If you can't finish it put it back in the freezer and finish it later.

Yeah that's one thing I've come to terms with - if you can't finish it, save it for later! It's a good thing to have leftovers anyway.
