Hey all!

A little about me, I started out at 325lbs. I'm currently 3 months post op gastric Bypass surgery! I'm down 70lbs weighing in at 255lbs! I feel amazing, I'm loving the process, BUT I can't deal with this hair loss! It's making me depressed! I used to have this beautiful long black hair and now it's short and dried out and falling out by the pounds

Someone please tell me this gets better!!!

Anyone have any solutions to this problem? I take my Vitamins every single day and doing great with my Water intake and protein! Any suggestions?!

Thank you in advance! post-296597-14840162324437_thumb.jpg

I'm 5 months out from my bypass... I started losing hair at the 3 month mark. I'm happy to say my Hair loss has slowed down considerably. My weight loss has also slowed down to 2 to 2 1/2 lb a week. I think when our weight loss slows down so does the hair loss.

I use rogaine. It worked when I had the band years ago...hair started to regrow...so this time I started it preventatively

I don't know that there's much you can do. But it *will* stop eventually

most people don't lose enough for anyone else to notice, and some people don't lose any at all (I didn't lose any). Plus, it grows back.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
