Both will pass . Throwing up is when you went over want your stomach can hold. Dumping I was told is from eating something your stomach cant handle. I've never dumped in the 3 and a half month . Lots of throwing up tho.You will feel better soon it never last very long for me.

For me its really bad and lasts like 20 min if not longer. Waves of pain from the back of my throat down the middle of my back. And i feel like its going yo come up or maybe just wish. My mouth will Water and today foam has been coming up. The first time i ate one small bite of cake. This time i just had a few small bites of pureed ckn and really soft broccoli. Something ive eaten twice before with no problem. I think i took a drink of my Water too close to my food or had my bites too close together. But it really hurt bad for a while.

I just ride it out. I dump if I drink my Protein Shake too fast. It sets in within 15 minutes and lasts an hour then is gone. I get nausea, dizziness, hot flashes and generally feel gross.

Not true, people experience it differently and. The causes are different too. I have a friend who dumps by projectile vomiting for hours...she was eating sweets.

I have only dumped from my Protein shake. Drinking too fast did it. I get hot flashes, nausea, dizzy and feel totally gross.

Ok . I guess my Doctors wrong. I was throwing up a lot a few weeks ago so I asked him about it.

I have had it a few times... I get it from eating something that contained too much sugar. I get a little crampy and feel off until 30mins later I'm on the toilet with the trotters...

after that I'm good.

I have had it from a yogurt , ice cream, and some shitty Italian dessert.

I know dumping is no laughing matter but I certainly chuckled when I read "and some shitty itilian desert" it's like I could feel the anger and disappointment you had from that specific item.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
