Ok I was banded on 4/28 which was friday i am still very sore in the biggest laceration spot I guess that's where the port is, i'm starving these liquids are just not doing it. I don't feel hungry but in my head I am begging for some chicken, bread, just anything, so hopefully this will pass ! pray for me please !

Ok I know all doctors are different but I wasn't given a pre op diet! My pre op day is 2 days before surgery so I guess I won't get one, but that would really suck if they open me up and then decide not to do anything because of the fatty stuff or a big liver ,I think that's what u were saying ! Great now this is something else to add to my list of worries! I'm calling the doctors office first thing tomorrow !

I want this lap band procedure so bad but i'm afraid of the drastic food changes I will have to make, i'm a very picky eater and I don't like alot of your healthy vegetables like I should, I mean i cannot stand onions at all green, white, yellow, none of them, I don't like mushrooms, and lots of other ones. SO my question is what kind of foods are good for you to help you loose weight with getting the lap band without starving yourself to death like I may have to because I know I will need to learn better eating habits so please help me understand getting the band and what kinds of foods you should eat ?????????!!

Ok I have been reading several testimonies & this may be a stupid question to some but I have to ask anyway. With the lap band for the people who have had it, what does it mean when you get a fill @ the doctors office after your surgery and what is the purpose of having that done !!!

Well i'm looking to have the lap band done by Georgia Coast Surgicals (Dr. Kent). I'm not sure if I want to have it i'm still in the researching process and checking out the doctor to be sure he is the right one to use so please any advice on this surgery safeness , and the after affects.
